This day, Valerie felt completely numb from the moment she wake up. And she knew why. Two years ago, her little sister had been eaten by a titan. But she walked through the day, the rest of the world nothing but a grey blur.
In the evening, the girl decided to go outside for a stroll, feeling like the space and people around her was closing in on her every minute. She needed space. So she walked, until the darkness had closed completely in over her and she couldn’t even see her surroundings.
The surprise when she almost walked straight into another person in the dark was the first actual emotion Valerie felt that day. “Oh!” she yelped surprised.
