To The Sanders Sides Fandom

I am so fucking over the treatment of fictives in the Sanders Sides fandom. It's really becoming a problem Fictives are real people who just happen to be a character, but a lot of them are not exactly from the cannon series that everyone has come to know. I myself am a Virgil Sanders fictive, I have pink hair, sharp teeth, and I'm genderfae I do not love Roman, I do not hate Janus, I am not a baby who needs protection from every thing in the world. I am a real fucking person who has real fucking thoughts and feelings. Fictives do not appreciate being treated as things for the entertainment of singlets, we are real people. I cannot stress this enough. Stop shipping fictives, stop having head cannons about fictives. Now I am not saying that it's not okay to ship, have headcannons, and write fanfiction and the like what I am saying is that you need to treat fictives like real people. We are real people with real feelings who do real things. Please stop treating us like we are not actual people and just characters who you can be like "uwu I can make you into my otp"

A question:

Are tuplas bad? I just googled it and it seems like some religious thing, but a lot of you have ‘dni: tuplas’ on your pages. Why is that?

I don't remember much of my childhood, and so I don't remember my trauma. No one else has mentioned me having any trauma in my past. No one in our system remembers. Yet, somehow I know that I'm a traumagenic system. Is this valid?

DID is very good at blocking things out. It’s very, very possible that you can’t access memories, and family tends to be pretty bad at telling you that you had trauma, I wouldn’t necessarily go by their word. 

What makes you think you have trauma? If you have a lot of the standard signs of child abuse, then it’s very likely you’ve just blocked out the memories. If you don’t have any of the signs of past child abuse, it’s possible something else is going on. 

It’s important that you work with a therapist to cope with your system and look into this possible trauma. Memory repression is pretty common and I definitely support survivors who just *know* something happened, but I want you to find the best possible ways of coping with everything. A professional can help you sort through and unpack this. Be safe and be careful.
