hello everyone it is time for my bi-annual digimon obsession and this time i've binged ghost game

AU in which Chihiro Hamada is taken to be raised as a Fujita at the age of three, only to realize later on that she's (he's) transgender.

Oh god, this is one of those AU asks that sets of SO MANY IDEAS IN MY HEAD AAAAAAH SCREW IT LET’S LIST THEM ALL:

1) The Fujitas accept that he’s male, but they stick by their traditions of being an all-female squad and cast him out. Separated from everything he’s known since childhood, Hiro ends up on the streets, struggling to survive, until a certain robotics student stumbles across him on his way home from SFIT one night...

2) The Fujitas don’t accept that he’s male, and force him to retain his female identity, compelling Hiro to finally break free from the people who stole him from his family so many years ago. Tadashi still stumbles upon him, but this time Hiro is on the run and has to grab Tadashi and try to escape from a Fujita attack, because once a Fujita, always a Fujita, until death comes to claim you...

3) The Fujitas happily accept that he’s male, and offer their full support. It is super cutesy and they all take him shopping and call him little brother and Hiro is annoyed with their fawning but secretly pleased.

4) Same as above, but the Fujitas decide they need a second opinion for Hiro’s new clothes, and kidnap a bunch of people to help out. These people happen to be the nerd herd, who are freaked out but very bemused that they’ve been kidnapped by infamous gang members to essentially give fashion advice. But then they notice that Hiro looks an awful lot like someone they know, especially when they start making him try on clothes like Tadashi likes to wear...

AU where Hiro is a trans girl. She realised after graduating high school. The Nerd Herd know because one day Tadashi was rambling about his amazing little brother Hiro and the next he was rambling about his amazing little sister Hiro.

They still haven’t met her, though now they’re even more eager. They’d been preparing for the day Tadashi would bring his younger sibling in for a while, and honestly they can’t wait.

But it’s actually GoGo who meets her first. She gets a call from Tadashi one Saturday, asking her to come to the mall. Curious, she heads over, only to find Tadashi waiting for her with who must be his sister. Hiro, for her part, looks terribly embarrassed, tugging at the hem of her oversized t-shirt. GoGo just raises an eyebrow in Tadashi’s direction.

It turns out that when Hiro realized she was trans, the entire Hamada household had completely forgotten that she might need some new clothes. She’d been fine with wearing her old stuff for a while, but eventually decided she wanted to change up her style a bit. But when she and Tadashi had tried going shopping before, they’d both become overwhelmed with options, and Hiro had been too shy to really ask for help. So Tadashi had called in GoGo.

When she asks him why he didn’t call Honey Lemon instead, considering her fashion sense, Tadashi admits that Hiro’s probably not interested in Honey Lemon’s style of clothing, and would be more comfortable in outfits like GoGo’s. Shrugging, she accepts that as a pretty good reason, and then grabs both Hamadas by the hands.

She’s been given a mission, and by god by the time they’re finished Hiro is going to have the greatest new wardrobe ever

opinion on trans guy hiro?

Hmmmmm…it’s an interesting AU that’s for sure :)

I am fully supportive of people that come out as transgender (or any other way that they identify themselves as) and I think it could be really cool to see a fictional character (and cartoon character no less) go through the process of becoming who they feel like they should be. 

So correct me if I’m wrong, but in this idea, Hiro is a girl that wants to be a guy, right? I mean, either way I can just see it now…Tadashi, Aunt Cass, all his friends…they would be so freaking supportive of Hiro’s choice it would make people cry tears of joy. 

OMG IMAGINE TADASHI LETTING HIM TRY ON ALL HIS CLOTHES. IMAGINE THE GANG GOING SHOPPING TO GET NEW CLOTHES AND SPENDING HOURS ALL OVER A MALL. IMAGINE THE GANG/CASS WATCHING AS HE TRANSITIONS AND BEING SO ENCOURAGING AND HELPFUL AND GIVING GREAT ADVICE UGGHHHHHHH.

AND NOW I’M THINKING IF IT WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND WHERE HIRO WANTS TO BE A WOMAN AND HONEY LEMON IS GIVING HER MAKEOVERS AND TAKING HER DRESS SHOPPING AND GOGO IS GIVING HER TIPS ON HOW TO STAND UP FOR HERSELF UGGGGHHHHH

Okay, but seriously, I think I like this AU more than I should right now :P

So that AU waaay back where Hiro was a Latias and went off on a journey with a human (what if the human was human Baymax though): imagine Hiro staring at himself in a mirror, using his illusions to change his feather shade every minute or so. His trainer's just watching in confusion because a trans male Latias is weird enough, but he's been changing the exact shade of his feather colour for HOURS now.

Oh yes, I think we’ve seen a few fanarts with Latias!Hiro. Plus there’s a fic out there that’s awesome, I think I’m following it on AO3?

What the trainer (Brendan in the one art and I like him a lot so let’s go with him, although Baymax works too) doesn’t realize is that Hiro overheard a bunch of trainers talking about shiny hunting the last time they were in town. Brendan had been to busy trying to figure out how to get to the Pokemon Center, and then the Gym, to be paying attention, but Hiro is very curious about humans and so when he heard the group talking so animatedly, he snuck closer to listen in.

Only to hear one of the trainers bragging that he’d found a shiny Ralts, and managed to catch it. When someone asked the trainer what had happened to his previous Ralts, the trainer had dismissed it, saying it wasn’t shiny, so it wasn’t as good.

Hiro, horrified, immediately wondered if Brendan would toss him away if he found a shiny Latias on their journey.

That’s why, later that day, Hiro spent hours in front of the mirror, trying to change his colour to shiny Latias colours. Because if he’s shiny, Brendan won’t send him away. But as hard as he tries, he can’t manage to get it to work, leaving him more and more frustrated. Finally he starts crying, and tries to attack the mirror. Finally Brendan realizes something is wrong, and he steps in.

It takes Brendan thirty minutes and support from all of the pokemon on his team to convince Hiro that he doesn’t care if Hiro is shiny or not. He would never send him away. There are many cuddles that night.

What are your thoughts on a Female!Hiro AU? Everyone else is still their same gender, just Hiro is genderbent

Hmmm, as in Hiro was born female? Or as in trans!Hiro?

Both are wonderful, I especially like how a bunch of people have picked ‘Chihiro’ as Hiro’s female name because it just seems really clever to me. I think there are a few AUs under the girl!Hiro tag that are just Hiro being switched, though obviously there’s more with the whole group. I know there’s one AU ask I got earlier where girl!Hiro starts attracting attention with her looks, and the entire Nerd Lab goes into overprotective mode, which I think is kinda sweet too. Basically I think it’s a really cute idea in general, yay pretty girls!
