The idea was that, post-Aogiri, Kaneki would discover she was transfem and take the opportunity away from the 20th ward to transition. She'd grow out her hair and swap out the shorts on her battlesuit for a skirt instead

if no ones gonna draw trans kaneki guess ill draw it myself!!!!! i actually start this a few months ago and it was gonna b kaneki w/ cool post-dragon scars all over his body except imm bad @ patterns so i kinda gave up (i 4got abt the drawing 4 so long it was literally covered in dust and spiderwebs when i picked it up 2day BJFDKKDODOD) so yea now its just trans kaneki

yea im supposed 2 be working but i dont want 2 and also trans kaneki gives me life that is ALL

anyway this post is gonna get long so im putting a readmore but readmores dont rlly work on asks so *shrug emoji*

kaneki is trans and its canon (or at least it is in my heart) : a post

kaneki is transmasc but he isnt completely binary trans. hes like kinda nonbinary aswell but he says hes just a binary trans guy 2 simplify

i have not rlly thought much abt expanding on kanekis childhood atm bc thinking abt it makes me go :sobcat: so idkkkk exactly when & how kaneki realized he was trans. once i do decide ill probably post abt it but 4 now its undecided

he cld probably wear boys clothing and have short hair and stuff in the last years of living w/ his aunt bc 1) she already hated him anyway and 2) its not like they interacted much since he just avoided her as much as possible and she ignored him most of the time. she probably hates him even more 4 being trans bc shes an absolute asshole anyway

i like 2 think he got top surgery a short time b4 the steel beam incident bc i doubt hed have the time and means to get it afterwards and also fighting in a binder is unsafe. he probably saved up for years 2 get top surgery  asap and hide probably helped him get enough money as well. (the binder edits i do sometimes r just 4 the serotonin)

when nishiki said he “smelled like a female ghoul” he fucking died inside its like strangers r finally starting 2 gender him correctly qnd then he gets turned in2 a ghoul and all the ghouls say he smells like a woman thats. rlly unpleasant

he thinks dresses r pretty but hes unfortunately 2 dysphoric 2 wear them comfortably at first :( he probably gets more comfortable over time tho, im thinking that maybe after the whole dragon thing and once everything is peaceful he starts wearing more feminine clothing occasionally

im not sure abt him going on T bc i personally dont want 2 go on T and this hc is 80% me projecting dfghjklkjnhbvcdfghk but maybe he cld get hrt once he joins the ccg as haise (which also means that hed have 2 stop some time after leaving the ccg bc getting hormones and needles that pierce through ur ghoul skin isnt a priority when ur a known criminal and ur trying 2 protect thousands of starving ghouls) 

generally dysphoria fucks up kaneki’s mental health even more,,,, hes already kinda suicidal but periods or being misgendered only make it worse,,,,,,,,, ;-;

now is time 4 a second part abt haise bc i wanted 2 include him and his relationship w/ gender is vvv different from kaneki’s

haise has almost no dysphoria bc no one ever misgenders him and he also has no memory of ever living as a girl. hes probably agender or genderfluid leaning more towards male or smthg

since hes a lot more comfortable w/ his body than kaneki is he looooves wearing dresses and makeup and stuff. he doesnt rlly do it much at work bc his colleagues already hate him enough but its not rare to see him w/ a dress on his days off. the quinx dont rlly mind and mutsuki actually finds it inspiring,,,

the first time he had his period he didn’t know what that was and he called arima like ‘arima-san im bleeding and it hurts i think im dying......’ and arima was like ‘i am not qualified for this’ SSDFGHJdfghjklmDFGHJK

he does his best 2 help mutsuki bc he knows its probably important 4 him 2 have ppl who support him and ofc haise wants 2 b the best parent he can.
