Ok so I’ll find the post later but there’s an idea in my head now. So thirdlight and Mi-yeong (after getting told off by Zoey’s mom, and realizing that theyll never manage to get Zoey, let alone the other two hunters, legally) come up with a really bad plan.
(For context this is the deadbeat mi-yeong AU)
They’re gonna kidnap the girls.
I think for them to get to this point it has to of been like four or five months since they found Celine again, and he’s still refusing to let them be alone with his daughters. (Yeah, that includes Zoey, no, they don’t know it’s Celine).
Thirdlight and Mi-yeong are getting maybe four hours of sleep every 3 days, between work, hunting, and plotting to get hot flower shop dad to let them take his daughters to fight demons, so they aren’t thinking very clearly.
They probably end up kidnapping them after school and before Celine can pick them up, using chloroform to do so. (They are careful as they can be, but it’s still a massive hazard.) they manage to get them to Jeju island, even! Then they wake up.
Mi-yeong and Thirdlight feel how the Honmoon is trembling, sending out distress signals that normally would be them calling to each other. They left the girls in a room alone, locking it, as they tried to figure out the best way to go about this.
So imagine their shock when hot flower dad suddenly smashes through their, leveling a scythe at the two of them and demanding that they give him back his daughters.
Zoey’s mom walks in after him, holding a crossbow that’s already notched, and shes pointing it at them with the kind of rage that makes predators freeze in place.
Mi-yeong tries to explain, but Celine cuts her off, saying that he can feel how the Honmoon is trembling with the terror his girls are feeling. They don’t get a chance to ask him about how he can feel it as he brushes past them, opening the door and immediately having to dodge a chair that smashes into the wall with enough force for it to break before the girls inside recognized their Appa.
He gets tackle hugged by them, all three girls are crying. He picks them all up (buff hot flower dad agenda) and starts leaving. Mi-yeong steps in his way. She says that he can’t leave, that those girls need to learn about everything, and if he knows about the Honmoon he knows how important it is.
He says that she shouldn’t have kidnapped his kids if she had wanted him to listen to her. He starts to leave again before pausing as a sword manifested in the other woman’s hands. Setting down his girls gently, he tells them to stand behind him. Mi-yeong says the world is at stake. Celine says she shouldn’t have taken his world.
He summons his own twin weapons, shocking the two hunters as he holds them in a defensive stance. Zoey’s mom clears her throat, telling the two of them to stand down because she is a wicked good shot with her crossbow. Zoey, (who’s calmed down somewhat), tells her mama to shoot the mean one in the butt.
Mi-yeong relents, finally asking who the hell Celine is. He simply says a father trying to do right by his kids. He leads them past the two women, dispelling one sword to hold Rumi’s hand to form a chain of the girls. He leads them outside, Zoey’s mom covering their retreat.
Mi-yeong turns to go after them, but thirdlight stops her. She asks Mi-yeong if she recognized those swords. Mi-yeong is of course confused, asking what thirdlight means.
Thirdlight says those are Celine’s swords.
Everything clicks into place.
Everything suddenly makes a lot more sense… and is now infinitely more difficult.
Celine and Zoey’s Mom get the girls back to the flower shop a few hours later, getting them all tucked into bed. (They are snuggling for comfort, they were traumatized).
Zoey’s mom asks if Celine can explain anything tbat just happened. Celine relents, too tired to keep any more secrets, and tells her everything.
He tells her that eventually the girls will have to perform, but they don’t need to do it under sunlight entertainment. Zoey’s mom agrees, saying they should find a stand-alone manager for them. Then Zoey’s mom asks if they’re going to have to fight demons, and if so how the girls could be prepared for them.
Celine says she can train them, it’s been a few years but she remembers how to fight. Zoey’s mom asks if she can supervise. Celine says yes.
(The girls listening at the top of the stairs are plotting ways to get the two married. It’s adorable).
Deadbeat Mi-yeong and now the shattered AU have completely taken over my tumbler and I have zero regrets.
So gonna write something funny for the shattered au later, for now I gotta work 😭
