Hi all! How about some positive energy?
Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility!
Here’s a list of some of the amazing Trans Creators we have over here on GOAD and their socials. You can also find loads of trans themed works on AO3 as well! To the World 🏳️⚧️🥂
@gahellhimself-blog — whom you may know from his incredible comic Teach-Me (featuring trans Crowley) and so much more incredible art! (Find him on Patreon and Instagram!)
Terraific — who has written some lovely prose as a longstanding member of the writers guild! (Find them on AO3!)
@e-rated-beardo — if you haven’t noticed the regular reblogs on our account on beardo’s fic, Scorn and the Saintmaker, (featuring trans Aziraphale), then you should go check it out, it comes with delicious art! (Find him on AO3!)
@randomshitwithwinter — we recommend you take a look at his latest WIP, Are you a mic pack? which also features trans Aziraphale and the joys of being out! (Find him on AO3!)
And finally, seamstrex_divine42 (aka, midwestern_gothic) who is working through his very first WIP with the GOAD Writers Guild, The Isolated System a post S2 rebellion epic fic filled with Heavenly world building and conspiracies. Keep an eye on our tumblr for their posts!
We strongly recommend and adore all of our GOAD creators in the trans community! 💙🩷🤍🩷💙 In addition to supporting these creators, we invite others to share their works featuring trans characters and themes in support of this day of visibility 🏳️⚧️

AND WE'RE BACK!
all September for @queerzestzinefest, the World Beyond the Veil transmasc horror zine will be available for purchase--and there are some DEEP discounts for this final round of sales!
pick up some zines and merch today:
The World Beyond the Veil is a for-charity horror zine, stitched together by a collection of transmasculine creators.
Probably weirdly specific but: Does anybody know any trans men/trans masc creators (like on instagram or tiktok) who are in a relationship with a cis man?
Creating Trans Art In The Face Of Fascism and Under Capitalism
Being transgender, queer, part of the BDSM community, having your identity be unpalatable to the general public, and even to parts of our own communities, and not censoring your self in all of that, is not financially profitable.
So how can a group like ours survive? How can we hope to create and support our selves while refusing to stop making content that is for our fellow queers, kinksters, trans folks and furries, all the freaks and geeks alike? It's certainly seems like a particularly bad time to start up a project like this knowing all this doesn't it? But that's why it also feels more important than ever.
The only way we can survive is by getting our content to the community that we know wants it. We're creating the kind of content we wished existed and that we know we would have watched. We don't have any capital to pay for any kind of advertisements (we're nerodivergent, disabled and transgender so you know) so we can only do our best to fight the algorithms that are actively suppress and censoring our type of content.
I was asked by someone recently why we didn't just at least soften up some of the edges even a little so we could reach a wider audience. I understood why they asked, they want us to succeed and are aware of the impact of us not doing anything to be more palatable. I explained though that that would go against the entire point of this group and it's projects. We can only hope that the people who want our content will share it with their friends and that their friends will do the same. Because in the end, that's one way that governments and institutions and algorithms can't censor, they can't censor the connections that you have with your fellow community members.
If Trans TTRPG live-plays interest you, then check us out. Giving our YouTube a follow and checking out our series is the type of thing that will help us the most. Our community is who this content is for, that's likely you if you've come across this post. If our content isn't your vibe maybe you know somebody who's vibe it is.
Weather it's our content, or the content of other trans unapologetically loudly, unpalatable and strange queer creators, now it is more important than ever to support them.
a meditation on the state of affairs.
