I have a question for the lioden lore community
What do you guys normally lore your lab-frogged kings as?
Right now I’ve got a rough idea that Uongo’s successor is going to be posed as a Snarky Female. And I’m thinking that she identifies as a woman. But I haven’t decided if she’s intersex, or a trans gal, or a cis gal. These all affect lore in different ways - the first two she could still have biological cubs with the lionesses, which I like, but the last would mean that, lore-wise, all of the cubs are from ~wandering males~✨which I don’t like. But I also personally think it’s creepy to decide that a character is trans solely for the purpose of having babies. A character should be trans because that’s who they are, not because you want babies. I feel that it others trans people? Maybe fetishizes them? It just skeeves me out. But I’m also not trans, so maybe trans people feel differently. And I’ve definitely got some good lore in my head for her being trans and the lionesses helping her shave her mane off everyday (the bonding! So cute! The defiance in her eyes! The lionesses telling her how this shows off her graceful neck! Ahhh) If she was a cis gal, I could also say that all of the cubs are fathered by her sub-male brother I guess. I kinda like that, I love close sibling relationships. But I also love the trans/intersex lore in my head.
I guess I kinda wanna see what everyone else does? And definitely get feedback from trans players

I just found out something amazing about lions and I wanted to share I was doing a bit of research about homosexuality in the animal kingdom, which lead me to google gay lions pics (cause they are cute as heck, really, just take a look)
and suddenly I came across this
I felt a bit dissapointed but just because I’m curious, I googled ‘maned lionesses’ and then I found this
guys
there are trans lions
and I kept on reading and–
THERE ARE TRANS BI LIONS OUT THERE
and it made my heart feel full and happy. Love in all forms exists in creatures of all forms. That’s all, thanks for coming to my TED talk.
