Purpose To determine the prevalence of prostatic metaplasia in an expanded cohort of transmasculine individuals undergoing gender-affirming
I'm recruiting for my PhD study! Participants will work to create mind-maps of ways they reduce gender dysphoria, with the aim of creating guidance and advice for people on wait lists, unable to access, or just not interested in medical healthcare. Feel free to DM or email any questions, and shares appreciated :)

We urgently need to raise £10,000 – so that GIRES can continue supporting the trans community and those that help them.
GIRES is at a critical point. We urgently need to raise £10,000 – or risk losing one of the UK’s longest-standing, most trusted sources of trans research, training, and resources.
For nearly 30 years, GIRES – the Gender Identity Research & Education Society – has stood at the heart of UK-based trans advocacy and education. We’ve built the UK’s largest free trans support and information network. We’ve created robust, research-backed training for professionals. And we’ve supported generations of trans people, families, and organisations through education, advocacy, and evidence.
But now, without immediate financial help, we will struggle to make it to the end of the year.
Even if you can’t donate, you can help us by sharing this Crowdfunder widely within your networks.
I'm donating £10, who can match me?
Hi! I am a genderqueer PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania. My research project looks at how, where, when trans and gender-diverse people feel at ease.
I am looking for members of the trans and gender-diverse community (encompassing anyone who does not identify as cisgender) to participate in a study surrounding trans and gender-diverse people's experiences of feeling comfortable, understood and respected.
I am conducting a survey and interviews to gain a better understanding of transgender, gender-diverse, and non-cisgender people’s experiences of gender, interpersonal relationships and values as well as what it means for them to live a good life.
The survey can be found through the QR code above. The survey link can also be found here:
https://utas.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bfp0XtJ9WZTjTeu
The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete. After submitting the survey, you will be asked if you are willing to take part in an interview, and will be given a hyperlink that leads to my email address. In order to express interest in participating in an interview, you must email me directly. More information will be provided at the end of the survey.
Thank you for reading!
alright trans (and ally) side of tumblr, I need your help. I live in a pretty safe and accepting area but there's been a rise in "debate" stands lately (read: ragebait content farming disguised as a real discussion). I see a lot of well-meaning people going up to debate, but I know it's not worth the time and I want to give them a more effective/productive way to support the trans community, so I'm putting together a zine that I can hand out next to these stands.
I'm looking for any resources that you'd recommend including! Both educational resources (trans history, scientific studies, mental health stats, etc) to counter the transphobes' arguments, and support resources (charities supporting trans people, volunteer programs, verified GoFundMes, etc) to help people make a real impact.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
