Time for skyfire for the au! He’s a big guy with a Russian accent and might be slightly inspired by a video game character hehe.

Some lore for him is that current day skyfire is very stoic, quiet and brooding. He’s not that sweet happy go lucky guy he used to be. Cuz of things between him and starscream who also gave him his scars .

Skyfire did create the aerial bots as a weapon by the behest of zeta prime but he threw some of his coding into them to forcibly make them into citizens and seen as actual beings. It didn’t work and the aerial bots were killed. Well that’s what everyone thinks what happens in reality he took them and hid them away from the war, only skyfire fights in the war to keep them safe. Around his young bots he can show his older self, his bright sweet self.

cuz of skyfire being in the war the aerialbots had to stay hidden, so the never interacted with any other bot expect for sky, astrotrain and zeta prime but that was a long time ago. Air raid ofc does not like the situation they’re on and wants to break out and discover all the wonders of the world, as silverbolt is trying to keep all siblings to stay and not break the rules. Hilarity unsuee.
