So, to be blunt, the child has no right to privacy or to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness because of their parents' right to control their child. In other words, children are a parent's property, and not an inchoate person and citizen.

hey guys! i don’t normally post super personal stuff on here but this is extremely important to me.

my roommate just made this petition for her high school friend who just got put on the prom king list using her dead name, even though she has been out for years. this is not the first time this school has been blatantly transphobic, homophobic, etc. in their actions.

my roommate, as well as many other alumni and students at the high school have emailed the principal and administrative personnel about this issue and none have been responded to. the petition goal is 100, but once she gets to 50 she can promote the petition and hopefully reach more people.

please please please sign this and share with others if you’re able to. it would mean the world to Grace as well as the rest of the LGBTQ+ community at the high school. thank you!

Looking for help updating school policy to include Trans Women!

Hello Tumblr family!

I'm looking for some help. I'm a little bit out of my league, and could use a hand.

The college I attended is facing some upheaval right now. The student body is advocating that the college step up and accept Trans Women as students. As one of the leading Women's Colleges in the country, it could be a huge step forward if we can get these outdated policies updated.

I'm looking for help from Trans Activists (preferably trans Women, though any help is appreciated) who are experienced with school policy, and from Student Advocates to help support the students currently on campus.
