Wow. Just.... wow
I was having a conversation the other day with my girlfriend. Apparently, being trans is something I should have figured out a long time ago and I should have started my transition a long time ago. I've been trying to get it through to her that transitioning doesn't have a time limit. That everyone transitions in their own time, when they are ready. Every time i have tried to talk to her about how I'm feeling, she turns it around to how she feels about it. It's so frustrating that she doesn't take my thoughts and feelings into consideration. It always comes down to what she thinks and feels. I always knew she could be selfish, but I didn't realize just how selfish she is until that conversation. Ugh. Has anyone else experienced this?
Being misgendered AFTER...
I know I'm not the only one that experiences this far too often but I was at a gas station yesterday and was walking back to my truck. A man started walking toward me and said 'hey brother, sorry to bother you...' but of course as soon as he was close enough and I opened my mouth to say something he said 'oh I'm so sorry, you're a girl'. Sometimes I correct people. This time I didn't. I just hate the fact that I pass up until the moment I have to speak. I really need to work on lowering my voice. Or I've even thought about just telling people I haven't hit puberty yet. Technically it's not a lie....
Idk if it's bc it is just me but I've never seen any trans people talk about it but I've been finding that whilst wearing boxers is obviously affirming and right for me, because I lack the anatomy they are designed for and I don't pack, the chafing is really really rough because the boxers ride up higher than they would for a cis guy.
Especially noticable for me I guess since both my jobs involve a lottttttt of walking around (this week I broke 40k steps in one day for the first time) Ordered myself some anti chafe bands but how well they will work with boxers we shall see. But yeah, my feet hurt, my back hurts and now my inner thighs are fucking burning. So hopefully bands should help as we head into summer proper.
Mid-twenties transguys’ confession:
If you were a chick and we were friends growing up, I probably had a crush on you. (Bad idea to post that on fb, yeah?)
