I ended up drawing a friendship picture based on my fanfiction.
Soune Taya and Toune Saya (fan-character) in the 7th grade, when they were best friends. I don’t know why I’m so attached to these two... Especially since it’s so sad what happens in my fanfic...
Blue Song universe. Taya hasn’t discovered his gender identity yet (he is non-binary trans-masculine in this universe,) nor does he dress in elegant menswear at this time. He’s also in seventh grade! This is why he doesn’t look like himself!
I don’t really like how this turned out lol. The colors hurt my eyes.
The strawberry background I used was something built into ibisPaint. I created my own blueberry background to compliment it by drawing a transparent blueberry and pasting it everywhere.
Taya’s character item is strawberries, and Saya’s is blueberries, so this brings out their friendship in the picture more!
The matching shirts were inspired by something I googled, yet it was my idea to incorporate chips and salsa, along with the halo and horned face on the shirts.
The name of their relationship is “Translucent Blue” by the way. The first kanji in Toune means translucent. The first kanji in Soune means blue.
