i see transmasc raph talked about as him having already transitioned, but i think exploring the transition of a transmasc raph could be very interesting
raph with a very active eldest daughter syndrome because "she" is the "eldest daughter". The responsability of care of the younger brothers being more explicit because of this. Him being rough and rowdy "girl" at the start of the show and slowly biting back because of the increased worry and responsability being put on him as everything worsens
Transmasc raph before he comes out meeting April after he's been raised up with his brothers and meeting a "real girl" and realizing he's not like her... raph trying to be more like a girl after he starts going out into the surface and new york and being dysphoric but not knowing how to indentify this feeling as dysphoria, posibly thinking he's failing at girlhood for being a mutant turtle/the only girl in a family of boys before figuring out that he's a trans guy. Leaning harder into femininity and being girly to try and "fit in" with maybe with yokais or smth and failing so hard and he doesnt know why
Him realizing he's trans somewhere along the show and being like "welp im probably a man but i have a job (need to capture all the oozequitoes/stop the return of the shredder) so Idrc about that rn"
Maybe he comes out some time later after the s1 finale cuz its been such a near death experience he realizes death is at the door and he doesnt want to die as a girl so he wants to take whatever time he has to be a man and be happy
Raph finding out just how naturally being a boy comes to him... finding so much joy in being a man and realizing he shouldve probably done this sooner but not wanting to stay too long with that guilt because its never two late
Donnie seeing his older brother transition and realizing its an option for her, too
