Secrets.
It seems when others have them, people don’t like that.
For some reason they have sort of a need to know.
Perhaps they linger closer around whispers they haven’t heard.
Maybe snoop one's belongings thoroughly without leaving a trace.
Even when it’s better not to be oh-so curious about somebody's secrets.
Yet, prying eyes still have a love for it. Is it really just because of curiosity?
But when others seek their secrets.
That’s apparently wrong, even if they’ve done the same.
So how is this wrong for others but for them it isn’t.
No matter if it’s minuscule, their fears, embarrassing moments, things they’ve done or things that even they don’t want to remember.
The thing isn’t necessarily an action or an item, it can also be a thought or a person.
Neither does it have to be a singular thing nor an idea.
Perhaps this thing, whatever it be, lingered close to one’s thoughts. Poking at their brain to notice.
Doesn’t matter if they’ve decided to ignore it.
It doesn't matter if they do hobbies to get their mind elsewhere.
Doesn’t matter if they work harder at their job.
Not even when it’s harmful for them and others.
It doesn’t matter what you do, it will linger even more so.
For the thing is only the consequence of one’s and or others actions.
And it needs recognition, for them to accept that it’s a part of them.

Something's wrong, but what exactly?
You’re quite sure that you should know the answer to that, however it seems you cannot put a finger to it. Why is that. Why can’t you.
Did you fall and hit your head, or did something similar occur?
'Why, why aren't--no. Why can't I think of anything what's going on, and why am I-, something's fucking wrong and I know it?!’
The more you try to think, the more aware your body becomes. Arms, legs, head, and every other part of your body feel too heavy, as if they are weighted down by sacks of flour on top of you. Even so, you can still feel winds blowing a you. And the rain - 'Rain?' Now that you think about it, you are wet.
Maybe not soaked to the bone, but definitely having your clothes drenched slightly more to your liking.
Like i have nooo good idea why y/n would become her sidekick?? But i wanna finish this so bad too
Last month, I'd fallen down the isekai rabbit hole. I've now reached a point where I'm having a hard time keeping track of what I've already seen and what I haven't yet watched. I've also been mixing up one anime for another, or worse I've completely forgotten what happened in it after some time has pass.
I originally wasn't going to put this in any particular order, but decided to list down the ones that I enjoyed watching the most to the least. For me, the least doesn't necessarily mean that it was bad. Just that it was not as memorable, or had a few things about it that bothered me enough to get in the way of my enjoyment of it.

Notes:
[1] I didn't know at the time, but 7th Time Loop isn't an isekai. It's actually more of a fantasy with time looping in the protagonist's own world, rather of them being a person from the modern world isekai'd to a totally new environment. I stilled enjoyed it, and would have overlooked it if I didn't check out all the Villainess tagged anime.
After Thoughts: I seem to like the slice-of-life, light-hearted, and wholesome types of isekai a lot more than I thought I would. They're so enjoyable, but a part of that is probably because I was more in the mood for them. For example, the last isekai I've watched was Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash. I put it low on my list, not because it was bad, but I just wasn't in the mood for it. I was actually pleasantly surprise that it went through the realistic, grimdark and serious route instead of the usual way.
Other reasons (besides not being in the mood for it) that I may put an anime low on my list is because there were things in it that I didn't like. For example, The Rising of the Shield Hero does an excellent job at provoking the audience reaction of outrage to the shield hero's poor treatment, but I just don't like how it handles a couple of things.
One of those points is slavery, which I didn't realize was such a common occurrence in isekai. The protagonist comes from the 21-century Earth, so they know slavery is wrong. Despite this, they never do anything about it, or even try to fight against it, or worse they actually contribute to it. Of course, they're not under any moral obligation to do something, but it's disappointing when it's set up as an afterthought or used as a gimmick to support the protagonist.
I get it. It would be difficult to stop slavery because it's a systemic issue that would require the dismantling of laws and regulations by those in power. But it makes me wonder why do so many isekai authors even include it at all? If slavery can't be treated with the gravity it deserves given its historical role in destroying millions of human lives, then don't add it into the story. More so, if it has no bearing on the actual main plot, or when it doesn't make much sense to see in lighthearted and wholesome-centric isekai animes.
I also don't care for loli-like or shota-like protagonists. It's adorable when the anime is actually sweet and pure, but not when they're sexualized, or put into fanservice situations. What comes to mind is Lloyd from I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince, so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability. It’s not a typical isekai since the protagonist is reborn into the same world—though I could be misremembering that. Either way, his character design in the anime weirds me out, and it only gets worse when Ren shows up.
Another example is I Shall Survive Using Potions. It has an interesting premise, but I dislike the protagonist. It's just so off-putting when all the character designs look the same because of the chibi-style. Plus, knowing that a 22-year-old office lady was 'reborn' into a child body, and plans to find herself a husband in that form (or that she isn't phrase by teen boys or men asking to marry her/pretend to be their fiancé) is disturbing. The entire time watching, I was also wondering when will she use her potion power to age herself up to be physically older. Seriously, the thought cross her mind to disguise herself by changing her hair and eye color, but not her body's age?? She even pointed out that it was such an annoying hindrance for when she wanted to start her own business. Oh, and it's not like it's impossible either because she unintentionally de-aged one of her companions too.
I also don't mind harem elements because some do it well by developing their characters and making their story be more than just pandering. Even if it's not a harem, a lot of the anime I've seen has a lot of female supporting characters surrounding the male protagonists. It's not always a bad thing, but most of the time it's not done very well. They tend to feel more like ornaments to complete a chartacter-type checklist (or just to fawn over the protagonist) than genuine companions.
Other times, the anime was confusing, too boring or took me a while to finally get into it. For example, So I'm a Spider, So What? It took me a bit to get into because I wasn't interested in the going on of her classmates. Every time they appeared I was like, no, go back to spider girl because I wanted to follow her journey the entire way, not these people who I have no interest or real attachment to.
Hmm, I'm not going to remember all the reasons I listed an anime low on my list, the few I do is because they were the ones I recently watched. Of course, over time this list may change because some anime have only one season so far, and could have something in it later on that could make me like it less or like it a bit more.
I know I won't be able to keep up with every new isekai release, so I don’t plan on making another huge list like this again—at least not anytime soon.

Oblivious to what awaits them in a few minutes, three kids sit down on the dining table. Each has a cup of noodles in front of them. By the looks of things it seems that they three are siblings. One brother and two sisters. The brother looks to be the oldest. As he brushes his hand through his seemingly black messy hair, he looks through his pitch black eyes at his youngest sister. With a mischievous gleam playing in his eyes he then looks at the box of chocolate in his hand .
A grin spreads across his face as he opens the lid of the small box in his palm. Noticing the weird aura around him The oldest sister turn to look at him with suspicion. He quickly hides the box and pretends to read the storybook he was holding. She does not see the box of chocolate but is suspicious of him. She seems to be about 12. Beautiful long silky black hair falls over her shoulder. As she moves her hand to move a lock of hair that had come in front of her eyes, Her ivory black eyes gleamed a shade of golden with curiosity as she then looked at her younger sister and uttered five words that incited a an interesting reaction.
"Aneesah, Isaam Bhai took your chocolate"
*(writers note: Bhai is a word used to call older brothers in Asia)*
The little girl who was eating noodles diligently became baffled by her older sisters words. She gets up from her chair and sprints to her room, opens the study table drawer and frantically searches for her little box of chocolate. After she was convinced the box of chocolate wasn't where she put it formerly, she turned around to menacingly glare at her brother who wasn't able to hide his expression and grinned. The eldest sister looked from her brother to her sister, clearly finding situation more amusing than annoying as if this has happened quite too many times before to find it surprising. The little sister ran towards the brother and yelled "Isaaaaaam Bhaaaaaiaaaaaaa!"
The brother stood up from his seat and held the box up far from the little sister's reach.. Her shoulder length hair bounced up and down as she jumped up trying to reach her box of chocolates.
She repeated again "Isaam Bhaia!!!".
The brother answered innocently by saying" Yes, Aneeeeeesah?". He was clearly teasing her.
Aneesah: Give me back my chocolates !It isn't yours!
Eldest sister: give it back to her Bhaia.....
Isaam: Eh, whatever. Here....
he says as he hands over the chocolates
ISAAM: {Really?! I just wanted one chocolate! Way to ruin the fun Parisa....Just you wait, I will get my revenge.}
Aneesah: Parisa appi, When will mum come home?
*(writers note: appi is a sweet way to call sister)*
Parisa: who knows.....not sure
Isaam: Aneesah, finish eating first. Then talk
*Aneesah throws an annoyed look at him*
MEANWHILE~
UNKNOWN GOD: Ahh! These three seem quite fine. It would be good to send them to elderheim. They will surely bring about a good influence. It's been long since I have had this much fun. Shall I give the goddess of Earth a visit? I'm sure she would be much willing to trade them.
IN THE EARTH HEAVEN PALACE~
GODDESS OF EARTH: These humans! I create you and you kill me! Is this how you repay me for all I have done for you?
Knock! knock! Knock!
Goddess of earth: come in
The door swings open.
A man or better described an angel walks through the door. With glowing golden hair and 3 pairs of wings, he comes and bows in front of the furious goddess.
???The angel: My goddess! The god of Elderheim pays you a visit. He states that he has a deal that will surely be to your interest.
Goddess of Earth: Is that so? Hmm....... Archangel Raziel, lead the way. I want to hear for myself what deal he thinks could be to my interest in this condition.
The goddess follows the Archangel to the room and walks in after ordering the angel to let no one else inside
???GOD'S POV: Ah...she looks angry. Guess I can't blame her. Her creations have started to kill her. The burn marks have spread throughout her body like a wildfire.
The goddess comes and sit in front of her visitor, picks up a teacup and starts to slowly sip tea quietly
The goddess of earth: I heard that you have a deal that would surely intrigue me and out of all times now? Remember this, you must offer me something of equal value of what you want. It must be fair.
God of Elderheim: I must state after seeing you, I think this deal favors you more than me.
Goddess of Earth: Hmmm......Is that so? I'll be the judge of that. What will you give me?
God of elderheim: 2 medium god healing magic stones
The goddess immediately looks up from her teacup startled. It was only for a moment but GOD was sure he saw a raging desire in her eyes but she quickly regained her composure. She put the teacup on the table, straightened her shoulder, and looked at the GOD before her wondering if he was serious and said...
The goddess of earth: what do you want in exchange?
God: I want three humans. These three children to be particular
He says as he creates a mirror in front of the goddess to show her which humans he wanted. The mirror glowed and showed the picture of three siblings. The goddess took a swift look at the three humans in the mirror.
The goddess of earth: You've been spying on my world?
The god of elderheim: well...... you've been careless with your protection so I might have taken a peak.
The goddess of earth gave him a swift glare, then proceeded to sip her tea.
*A few minutes passed in silence*
Goddess of earth: So......why these siblings?
God of elderheim: well, I'd like to keep that to myself, but if you are unsatisfied with this deal then I shall take my leave.
Saying so the god got up from his seat.
Goddess of earth: I don't see why you seem interested in these kids but I am willing to trade them for the stone. Consider this a done deal.
She then gets up and walks out of the room.
God of elderheim POV: well......now that was easy. Almost boring I could say. It's hard to believe she changed so much in a century. Must be hard for her......Oh well! I've gotten what I wanted. Only thing left is to inform my underlings about this new change.
