some transtraumatized/transptsd tips - ideas for triggers
certain songs, characters/character dynamics, and names are some things that you can turn into some of your triggers!
associate certain songs with your trauma and think about that trauma and how the trauma made you feel every time you listen to that song!
if any characters/character dynamics remind you of certain trauma or people who traumatized you, use that to your advantage!
has anyone you know the name of traumatized you? their name is now one of your triggers!
people who act similar to anyone who traumatized you can also be a trigger because what if they're just like the person who traumatized you? they both act the same!
certain scenes in shows, movies, etc. that you watch can be triggers as well if it reminds you of your trauma!
outfit styles could also be a trigger if the person that traumatized you has a certain aesthetic that they usually wear!
seeing, hearing, and being near the person who traumatized you can also be a trigger, even if they're not interacting with you!
I'll add more to this list when I think of more things, but I think that is is good so far!
btw i encourage everyone to use the tag #sfw transid for literally anything about transids, as long as it's sfw!!!!! i even tag random jokes n stuff i post with that when i rember to. i'm trying to make it a thing. cuz a lot of us have a huge problem w not being able to browse our tagz without seeing nsft ._. n it sucks to not be able to use them, but maybe we can at least make our own space to not be excluded in for now!!! until it's hopefully better one day!!

download simply plural, and log your alters down! you don't need to log switches, but you should use the chat feature to log down what the relationship between you and the other alters are like! also useful for figuring out what their personalities are like!
if you already have a cis mental illnesses/cis trauma, use those to help you transition to being a DID system! for me, I have ADHD and I'm diagnosed with adjustment disorder (with anxiety and depression), so I use my memory issues and my impulsiveness/indecisiveness/etc. as evidence for my alters! I also have cistrauma, so I use those as reasons for my alters existing!
watch YouTube videos about DID, PTSD, and trauma! view it as educating yourself about your mental illness!
do things that your alters like to do! "roleplay" as your alters in private until you get comfortable with your alters fronting around your family/in public!
make music playlists for your alters! make separate venn diagrams for each alter & you as well so you can create and visualize distinctions!
