A permasurvivor is someone who considers themselves to be a survivor permanently. This may be because they have experienced and survived a large amount of trauma or because they believe that there is always hope. Permasurvivors often feel that they will experience hardship or trauma again at some point in the future- but they will overcome it and carry on. Nothing can truly bring down a permasurvivor.
This could also apply to those who feel they could survive disasters or apocalypses!

The blue aspects represent what to some may seem an impenetrable wall of strife.
The middle gradient line demonstrates the conviction of a permasurvivor breaking through that wall.
The red aspects of the flag are intentionally done with shaky lines to demonstrate the level of intensity that permasurvivors have for their own persistence. This may include using extreme methods to survive- and may make permasurvivors seem "derranged" while they are facing hardship.

The first alternative flag with a phoenix uses the phoenix to symbolize rebirth and overcoming hardship.
The second alternative flag with fire brings about the idea of a "cleansing fire" and a life that rises from the ashes.
Note: people of all stances can use this term. I don't gatekeep terms even from those I dislike.
