Four months post op today. I feel like I still got quite the battle ahead of me to fight dysphoria, sometimes fighting the battle gets really old and I just want to scream but I continue to have faith that it gets better. I have come a long way and am proud of the fight in me that I have displayed thus far. I'm my own best inspiration when I look back and recognize what I've accomplished already. I thank myself everyday for getting myself to this point in my life where I can stand tall and not slouch over to hide parts of me that I couldn't stand, literally and metaphorically. A week shy of 6 months into my medical transition and I got some new ink to celebrate. Transcend all boundaries with my top surgery date because overcoming being born with a female chest was one of the toughest boundaries I've ever had to overcome and was/is such a pivotal moment in my life. I hope to continue letting my ego expand into the universe and transcend all boundaries as I strive to live by the unity that binds all of us and every creature and every thing.
