Mod hades wasn't using trans as an insult. "Trap" is a fucking nasty word to describe trans people, it was more so "you're either a freak who fetishizes trans people, or a trans person with really bad wording."

The actual answer to “are tr*ps gay?”

If you’re attracted to a Cis or trans male who appears feminine, and are still both attracted and interested when you know their gender, you are attracted a male

If you’re attracted to a trans woman, you’re attracted to a woman.

Same sex attraction does not invalidate any opposite sex attraction you’ve experienced in the past and vis versa. You may be bisexual, pansexual, gay, or straight, and no matter what that’s okay.

If someone calls themself by the t word, and likes to use it to define their appearance and presentation, that’s up to them... but think of it like the n word... you don’t get to say it about real people without express permission.

If you deny someone’s gender, no matter what the reason, you’re an asshole... come to terms with your sexuality, and come to terms with trans people.
