Day 16 of inktober and I drew fanart of Renton on his lift board from the series, "Eureka 7" A form of surfing exist in this show, where they ride the trappers in the sky (its a long story) and I thought it would make a fun picture. Enjoy!

It’s about 30 minutes early California time but here’s my piece celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Eureka seveN! I was honored to be asked to participate in a video when Amy asked me (I’m not too cool to do fandom stuff...like ever).  It’s hard for me to say what has always inspired me about this show, I think it was just the right combination of things at the right time. As a teenager Eureka was my age, and a great role model to have. I decided that instead of posting some long story, to illustrate how the show made me feel when I first watched it . . . excited, surprised, and having more of an appreciation for the earth, the people on it, and my body. Very sappy, I know. Special shout out to Kenichi Yoshida for influencing my drawings for literally the rest of my life, and BONES for animating a beautiful show!
