hi im trash uwu
I have like zero memory of these photos but I found them in my camera roll ????
I started playing Overwatch again! And I also rediscovered my love for this trashmouse!
@trashmouse I dont think you read a word of what I wrote in that post but im going to respond anyway.
Point one: I would agree with you, except polyamory has been done on television and film before in much much better ways. And a 2-second kiss isnt exactly what I would refer to as explicit male bisexuality but we can agree to disagree here.
Point two: yeah im gonna need to see some receipts on Rajan making Kala feel calm and stable. She spends the entirety of s2 in varying levels of discomfort and happiness and outright states that she thinks she's broken because she cant feel happy. Kala likes Rajan and cares about him deeply but she doesnt trust him with her innermost self. Rajan is a great dude, all the hate towards him is whack, but this narrative of a woman suddenly falling for guy who has been nice and loving and supportive to her the entire time isnt new. The whole reason Kala's situation is complicated in the first place is because it isnt just passion she finds with Wolfgang, it's intimacy. Their connection isnt framed as fiery and sexy and all consuming, its slow and deep and inevitable...like gravity. Or the ocean.
Point three: Kala's life with Rajan might have been kind and comfortable but stable it was not. His shady drug business and corruption puts Kala and himself in danger in BOTH seasons.
Look, I am poly myself. I have been in many different poly relationships, not just throuples (which annoyingly, is all we ever see) and I wish I could be thrilled about this. If you are, that is awesome and I am sincerely happy for you. But you never answered my question, which was about Kala's arc as a whole. Every single sensate besides her has to face some kind of deep moral choice that results in self-examination and a betterment of their person. Why was Kala robbed of this? How does her situation (being unhappy with the expectations of being a dutiful wife) change with this ending?
This isnt even a love issue to me tbh as a poly person i have been in relationships that werent equally balanced romantic-wise but were healthy because of rules and communication. Kala didnt escape rules, every relationship has rules, poly or not. To me this was more confusing than empowering but again, I welcome any attempt to change my mind.
My first digital drawing…and of course i had to draw my favourite trashmouse lol
