had a cake made with almond flavoring today and DAMN it was good, but it also made my existence feel bad. I think my allergic is confused.

Walnuts have the best texture
Been eating a ton of trail mix. I could shit and plant a tree. Anyone else have opinions on nut texture? That's not a cum joke
Black Walnuts
Not a Tree Nut
When talking about food allergies, coconuts get lumped in with tree nuts. Why?
Coconut palms aren't actually trees. They're monocots, not dicots. Like... I'm allergic to coconuts, but every other nut I am fine eating.
My Friend doesn’t know an acorn is a treenut
Just imagine a simpleton(she knows she’s a simpleton) allergic to tree nuts. She is sitting UNDER A TREE and picks up an acorn. *note*She will gets rashes if she come in contact with a tree nut.
*also note* this at a marching band competition and everyone is like high off of playing. And we are trumpet players. Nuff said.
“Guys I wonder what acorns taste like?” She says.
We all stare at her. “You know that’s a tree nut right?” We all tell her.
“No it’s not.” She says cause you’d think of your allergic to it you’d know more about it right.
“You are literally under a tree. Where do you think it came from?” We try to reason with her.
“Umm... the ground. Idk guys but I think it’s fine.”
“YOU WILL DIE.” We scream at her.
“Eh.” We stare at her angry and annoyed. “Fine I’ll do it after awards are announced.”
Then we all flop on the ground.
5 minutes later
“Guys I think you were right there is like a rash on my fingers now.”
I'm not even sure what to call this. A tree nut/floof? They're really hard on the outside, and I expected it to be hollow. It's actually filled with a bunch of soft stuff, kind of like a cattail. I just moved to Kansas from Maine and I've never seen these before. They're all over the ground at my new apartment. They come from the trees.
