I had a random thought about the temper tantrum Bakugou is going to throw when Izuku finally tells him that he want to save Shigaraki. Like sincere Izuku says: I want to save Shigaraki. (6hrs later) Class1A all sitting outside finally heard the screaming, angry rant and explosions spot and Bakugou strolls out the door and deadpan says “ok”.

I, personally, want Bakugo to get stupid mad about it, honestly. I want it to cause DvK3.

But I don’t think that’s what’s going to happen.

I think Deku is going to tell him what he wants to do and Bakugou will sit there and look at him, and then scoff and look away and just be like

“Of course you do.”

And it would hurt Deku because he would know this is actually hurting Bakugou and he would try to explain, but Bakugou would just shut him down and be like

“Shut the fuck up. I get it, but you’re not doing it alone, and if you got a problem with it, too damn bad.” 

And Deku would be like....stuck in a stupor for a while before he just sort of breaks down because here is Bakugou, unconditionally accepting who Deku is for the first time in their lives and it’s been everything he’s ever wanted and he knows he’s selfish and stupid and hard-headed but he’s just so happy that Bakugou finally sees him, and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa this has got me feeling so many things omg

Hi, I am looking for a fic that I read on AO3 back in 2018 or 2019. It was batdad and Dick focused. With Dick being a hard teen and arguing with both Bruce and Alfred and Bruce decided to send him to the Kent farm for 2wks. I think there was an underlying pairing of Bruce/Clark and I think Bruce told Dick he was not to meet Wally yet who was new to his powers and new to being a hero and Dick met him behind his back which got him sent to the Kent’s and then while there Barry visited with Wally.

Dick asks to meet the Flash's new sidekick, but Bruce refuses; a fight ensues, ending in Dick getting grounded. 3. Sleeping Headcanon

Dick is one of the worst (or best, depending on your perspective) people to sleep next to. He’s a very active sleeper, and has a tendency to sprawl out and move around a lot in bed, which either results in accidental kicking or his partner ending up wrapped in the octopus hug of doom. He’s even been known to overcome blanket barricades without knowing it, no matter how high the other person tries to raise them.

Basically, if you don’t like physical contact while sleeping, don’t share a bed with Dick, but if you are determined to, well... you better get ready for a heavy period of adjusting to it, because there’s no way he’s changing his sleeping habits anytime soon.

4. General Physical Contact Headcanon

Dick is not so hands on or huggy as people often think he is. In fact, he’s actually on the side of reserved and only really seeks out physical contact with the people he cares about and trusts the most. It’s seeing him alongside the rest of the Batfam that has the effect of making him seem more ‘cuddly’ to outsiders, because well, compared to them most anyone is.

When he is around those few people, though, he is an absolute glutton for it. e,g casually resting hands on shoulders, leaning up against them (or hanging off them, if it’s Clark), and genuinely getting all up in their personal space. Dick communicates most powerfully through his body language, and it’s always a good indicator to anyone on the way he’s feeling towards them and in general with how much physical contact he seeks out. Which is sometimes a conscious thing, and sometimes not. Dick is, after all, not above using touch as manipulation, and well aware of the effect he has on the people around him. As much as they’re often genuinely meant, hugs and cold shoulders can also be used as weapons when he feels it’s necessary i.e when certain members of the family are being dumbasses, and most of the time, those targeted by him have no idea they’re being wrapped around his fingers that way until it’s already too late (that’s if they ever realise at all).

hmm, alright!! Owlman/Dick, while nice, seems too easy… so let’s do the other one!

how about a soulmate AU with identifying marks. Dick’s can be in the tramp stamp area, let’s say. and with his clothes always falling off during battle, well, one day Slade happens to catch a glimpse of a mark that matches his own. he was already super interested in having Dick as his apprentice, and seeing that mark makes him realize why.

so he’s like hey Dick… WHA-BAM and rips open his own uniform to show off the matching mark on his chest/stomach/whatever, and so Dick’s like >:o !! and Slade’s like “come with me boy wonder”

…buuut Dick’s stubborn, so he doesn’t. at least not until the Renegade arc later. and it’s then, working under Slade, that they really begin to connect as soulmates. Slade brings out the villain traits in Dick, and Dick balances him out with heroism vise versa.

Dick tries to deny it’s happening, because Slade is a smug fuck, but he’s getting more and more attracted to him each day. in mind, body, and soul. but “body” is definitely ranking pretty high. and Slade sure loves to run his fingers over Dick’s soulmark…

and then they FUCK

(and maybe fall in love, but neither of them want to admit it)

Bayard question. I haven’t had time to rewatch season 1 but do the bayards only work for people worthy of being paladins? So far only the paladins(current and past) have used the bayards, and yet Lotor was able to use it. He was even able to have it changed into several weapons in fact and yet he had no training on how to use the bayard.

i’m not at all surprised that the black bayard finds him worthy tbh. he does have more leadership experience than most other characters, and if we compare his ex-team to the paladins it’s pretty clear that lotor is supposed to be the black paladin’s counterpart.

Hi. This might not be an ask but I just need to voice my excitement about the final episodes on season 6. Keith has grown so much emotionally and mentally. He jumped right into leader role. He jump right into the black lion. The black lion didn’t even put him through a test (there was no asking or pleading for him to accept him as his paladin) the lion just up and roared to life and was ready to fight. Keith was planning attacks and was so confident the other pilot didn’t even question or argue.

2)!!!!!!! right!!!! keith was soooooo good!!! those 2 years with his mom and space dog really did wonders for him:`) he was such a good leader!! he worked so well with the others!! making quick calls while also listening to them!!! and yes! keith may be the “red” paladin, but i think black certainly likes him and thinks he’s worthy:D and yes!! the confidence!! the skill!!! that final fight scene was honestly SO GOOD. like, beyond the animation going above and beyond, the emotions and the way all of team voltron was being so competent and confidant, honestly they’ve all come so far, and keith really shone:`)

Not sure if your taking Fic Recs but if you are I love In A Parallel Life by Firestar385. It has Bruce and all 4 boys being transported to a world where his parents lived and he died. It has a lot of Bruce being a good and loving dad. It just a beautiful story.

@preciousthingsareprecious actually rec’d this to me a coupe months ago, and at first i was reluctant to read it because i new it wasn’t dick grayson centric, but i eventually did stop finding reasons to put it off and ended up loving it to death. it’s probably one of my favorite fics now!

Can I just say how excited I am to have all 4 boys in Batman Ninja. I mean if we can appreciate anything from this dc animated movie/anime it’s that they embraced and decided to include all the boys and have them all work side by side with Batman. Maybe this will get the DCAU to do this more often with their movies. I am just so excited!!!!!

like honestly, as weird as some of the style/story/designs may be, I’m still hoping Batman Ninja is a MASSIVE success, so it shows DC/WB that having all four Robins/the entire extended Batfam in one film isn’t ‘too confusing’ and is absolutely workable, despite what they’ve falsely believed in the past, and then we can have more moves about Bruce’s kids/family!!!!!
