You're My Never-Ending Song (Bobby yearns for simpler times)-pre S1 JATP
warnings for minor injury, references to character death and Hallucination (full warnings on A03 chapter)
Bobby had never been the type to write about his feelings; that was always Luke’s job. Luke was the heartfelt one with a heartthrob face and a sensitive soul to match. Yet Bobby was the one pushing a cart in a supermarket in disguise to avoid being recognised as the boy with no success of his own. Fame had been kind to him to some extent; he had an expensive apartment, a 5-year record deal that would have made his friends weep with joy and the pick of beautiful celebrities to date, but that was never what he had wanted. He had joined Sunset Curve on a whim; if he had known what would happen, he wouldn’t have got out of bed the day Reggie had asked him to live a little.

Sunset Memories Oneshots-Number 47: tell me when you hear my heart stop
TW for discussions of disassociation
Some days he’d scream and cry and beg that some higher power would take him instead of them, or at least he did in the beginning, before the bloody visions and sirens took over his already unpeaceful sleep. Now he just sits and watches the window as days pass by and memories numb any piece of life left in him.
It wasn’t like he had anyone to care for anymore, his family didn’t care, they were too busy with his brother, his charming, goal-scoring brother at some stupid month-long tour to even blink an eye at their eldest’s despair and complete shutdown. Bobby’s dreams had been too whimsical for their liking anyway, what help could they offer him outside of a stern ‘i told you so’.
If he was to engage with the outside world then he would have been no different than he was now; greasy-haired, in the same clothes from 3 days ago, wishing the ground would swallow him up, there was no use for him in this world without his 3 best friends. If he chose to go back into the world he would have to accept that they were gone, he wasn’t ready for that, most likely he never would be.
His friends weren’t dead when he stayed in his room, they would be running into his room arguing about a bassline or laughing about how luke got scared by a spider any moment now.

Confession of the dead-chapter 1: even in the cigarette smoke I see them taunt me
Bobby sat in the office fidgeting in one of the green wooden chairs that sat outside the main consultation rooms, this was, by no stretch of the imagination, his choice, it was a mix of Rose's tough love and coincidence which seemed to be a familiar scenario nowadays, therapy was a worst-case scenario for him, opening up he seemed to do naturally but the fact it meant facing up to the reality his friends were now long gone terrified him more than the dark and the boogie monster, at least he could be certain that such things disappear after the while.
'Robert Wilson?' a voice called from one of the rooms bringing him out from his drowning thoughts and leading him into what may be the start of a new forever.
'please take a seat just there and Doctor Adams will be with you in a few moments' the assistant couldn't have been much older than him, with a pep in her step and a voice that would fool any child into thinking she had been ripped out of a Disney princess film, he wanted to frown but instead chose to give a nod in understanding, for kindness was a rarity as he soon enough realised after he lost his three best friends.
Bobby could have sworn he was going cross-eyed by the time Doctor Adams arrived, complete with a flowery folder in hand and an air of both mystery and calm surrounding her as she entered, 'You must be Robert' she holds her hand out to him which he simply declines, not out of impoliteness, even though he didn't plan on staying long, but more out of familiarity as he's hit with a strong waft of lavender similar to that of the kind Rose sprays on his pillow whenever he stays over in the hopes to keep the nightmares away.
'Lavender?' he asks her raising an eyebrow trying his best to keep up his 'the incident made me stronger' persona which was usually eaten up by people with no question or crumbs left.
'it is yes, it's one of my favourite little charms, keeps the energies balanced and the spirits settled' she responds with a smile straightening out the bottom of her skirt as she sits down.
'what kind of specialist are you?' Bobby looks at her as if she had just revealed a cupboard of human spines, the skater boy had said she was a little strange but this was not what he was expecting.
She simply chuckles opening her book and scribbling something down 'i know it's a little intimidating at first to hear the words spirits and therapy in the same sentence however I can promise you it isn't as sinister as it may sound' she looks up at him with a reassuring smile causing him to settle into his seat knowing it was no use fighting.
'Now let us start from the beginning hm? how did you get to know your three best friends?' she says turning to a fresh blank page in her notebook.
'i can't remember a time without them, even in the cigarette smoke I see them taunt me' he says quietly not making eye contact with her looking down at his hands fiddling with a simple black beaded necklace.
'in what way?' she asks pressing a little for more context,' they tell me it's my fault for letting the dream crumble' Bobby mutters clutching the necklace tightly around his fingers no longer in motion.
'it may feel like it, however, it is simply not the case, you didn't give them those dogs nor did you cook them'
'i may as well have though' he mutters under his breath, remembering how he pushed them to go.
This was going to be the longest few weeks of his life, then again time is only a construct right?

They say getting old makes you wiser. For Trevor Wilson, it had only made him more jaded about the world around him, about the future he could have been living if he had just been a few minutes earlier. If Bobby had gone with them. If he had held onto his boys a little tighter.
big love to @angelofarts for betaing this for me she’s a star and makes adorable dragons <3

Reggie would do anything to see him, to hear the gentle patter of his heart beneath his head as he slept, arms protectively around him, the way his unofficial boyfriend would bring him cupcakes from the local bakery on his birthday, the ones with all the chocolate sprinkles and a flake for decoration. Bobby had been the key to his heart, what was he to do now?
i am so excited to get this 5+1 one shot out! it is angsty and fluffy as hell and im buzzing about it! let me know what ya’ll think!
Reggie had planned to spend his summer rocking out with his band at all the venues they could sneak into on the LA strip, baby sitting his brothers children was never part of that plan, neither was finding out his band had a new member through it.
Bobby wasn't the biggest fan of it however baby sitting was pretty good money considering how broken his guitar was after trying to copy the bands on MTV rock out the day after he joined Whispercats.
Reggie is good with kids,Bobby has no clue, what chaos could they cause together? and who will come out of it not covered in crayons and paint?

After Sunset-Chapter 16: The last goodbye becomes a new hello
'I’m a different man to the 17 year old they knew, I’m not the person they need anymore, I have everything I could ever wish for in life, I’ve got a daughter whom I cherish with all my soul, best friends who I would sacrifice a career for and a second chance to do what I love.….
