Kinda wild to me that Fate, one of the biggest anime/video game/light novel/what have you franchises there is got its start as an eroge visual novel.

Meaning that there's like canon sex scenes with many of the now iconic characters.

And on the same note, Lyrical Nanoha started off as a spin-off for Triangle Heart, another eroge VN! Like, the third installment introduced a younger sister character (fortunately not placing her in any of the porn scenes), and then they took that character, cleaned up all the smut, turned her into a magical girl, and built a massive franchise around her!

That's weird. It's just weird.

You ever think how this was practically a joke?

And a (some) producer(s) saw this and thought “Let’s make a spin-off out of this!”?

And that said spin-off ended up being “Star Wars meets the magical girl genre”, creating a lore just a bast, and ended up completely overshadowing the source material, to the point that the only people who know about the Triangle Heart series are Lyrical Nanoha fans?

And let’s give thanks to the one who decided to replace Chrono as Nanoha’s rival and created Fate instead!

Not yet, sorry, I’m still writing it. :’D Two more scenes to go, and then it’s finished! But then I’m sending it over to my beta so it’ll probably take some time until I publish it.
