what’s a word you hate to hear in any media?

i literally have so so many words that make me shrivel up inside, but today I heard Spock say “triangulate” in snw. that’s my new hate word obsession. what’s yours?

Chapter 4

“I'm goddamn tired of hearing you say, "he knows what’s best," because what if he fuckin’ doesn’t?"

Man I spent literally only ONE (1) full day out in nature and I feel like I've been cleansed completely. I didn't even go camping, I stayed in a hostel! I slept in a bed and ate at a restaurant and everything. And yet. That shit cured me (temporarily).

It goes to show how 'touch grass' really gets at something kind of crucial about how things are currently in a lot of places for a lot of people. I got like 10 bug bites. I feel great. i slept better than I have in weeks and I got up and saw the sun over the lake and the birds absolutely shouting at the tops of their lungs in the trees. At 7:00 the temple bells rang. I walked around the lake and the people on the paddle boards were laughing. I climbed up the nearest mountain hiking trail and saw monkeys. I saw a bunch of birds.

Tomorrow I'll be back to normal but I think my big takeaway is that actually spending time in nature allows for a sense of perspective on things and if your situation seems unmanageable it's good to remember that it's temporary and there is a much bigger world out there and it's real. This too shall pass etc.
