So this is probably gonna be a real country take and idk how many of y'all will get it, but am I the only one who just gets irrationally angry whenever I see a massive Ram or Ford Ute? (Pick-up truck for the Americans)

Idk, like, I get why city people would be frustrated and angered by them, but they aren't even effective off road in the country, they're too heavy and cumbersome. If you really need that much hauling power, you get a Light Rigid truck, a transit vehicle. If the ground is even slightly soft or wet, they just sink. You can get a vehicle with almost the same amount of hauling power with like half the size and a much more efficient fuel economy that actually works off road.

Idk, like whenever I see one of those massive ones, my gut reaction is "pipe bomb, slash tyres, Louisville slugger" etc.

Michelle Krusiec’s performance in Community always bothered me so much. The more I watch this episode, the more irrational I realise my annoyance is, the more annoyed I am about it.

The thing is, she doesn’t sound like an actor performing a Chinese character. She sounds like an American actor doing a really, really bad performance of a Chinese character. We know she’s better than that. She performed in IMDB. We all loved her in that.

We know that community can cast Chinese actors.

We also know that they’re not afraid to go full parody in their portrayal of foreign accents either.

Which gives me the impression that her direction was to “act like someone who’s trying to act like they have a Chinese accent but is struggling to keep up the act.”

And you know what?

THATS PROBABLY EXACTLY WHAT HER DIRECTION WAS.

BECAUSE IN THE END WE LEARN THAT SHE’S FAKING IT. THE WHOLE TIME.

THESE TWO FOOLS WOULDN’T HAVE FIGURED IT OUT.

PIERCE IS TOO RACIST AND STUPID, AND JEFFS NOT WORLDLY ENOUGH TO PICK UP ANY SUS BEHAVIOUR AND HE’S TOO BUSY MENDING HIS EGO.

So Michelle’s acting choice makes perfect sense.

But then I watch it again, and it bothers me.

And I remind myself about the ending and how it makes sense.

Then I get irritated about my irritation.

And then I get irritated by how irrational my irritation is.

I’M IN A PERPETUAL LOOP OF IRRATIONAL ANGER OVER SOMETHING THAT DOESN’T MATTER.

That in a nutshell is the beauty of the show Community.

Fuck your third Jurassic "era" nomenclature

I'm irrationally angry about the announcement of/plot synopsis for the new Jurassic movie.

Because see, this is supposedly the start of a new "third era" in the franchise, and it's an all-new cast, and........ it's called Jurassic World: Rebirth.

NO! NO. We had a clear system here, you morons. You idiots. You absolute fucking horseshoes.

FIRST ERA: Jurassic Park

SECOND ERA: Jurassic World

THIRD ERA: Jurassic World *again* somehow WTF?!?!?

It's clearly amateur hour all throughout Universal's decision-making ranks right now, because I don't know how you can screw this up.

You could've called it Jurassic Rebirth. You could've called it Jurassic Era. You could've called it Jurassic Resurgence. Jurassic Planet. Jurassic Assault. Jurassic Latitude. Jurassic Clusterfuck. Jurassic Grabass. The point is that I DON'T CARE MUCH WHAT YOU CALL it, as long the title of the new third era is JURASSIC + NEW SINGULAR WORD.

Okay, but we live in a world where it's Jurassic World: Rebirth. That doesn't even sound good when you take away the whole problem with keeping it "Jurassic World" actually because what the fuck is being reborn? But screw all that, let's just deal with the fact that it's still Jurassic World for a second. Consider: What's the argument in FAVOR of this decision?

Maintaining brand recognition? No chance of that. Both the "Park" and "World" brands have that in spades, to the point where BOTH are still used in licensed products and spin-offs EVERY YEAR.

Is the World trilogy more beloved than the Park trilogy, so we want to keep that train rolling? Hahahahaha NO. That is absolute not true. Not by a longshot. If anything, there's an argument to be made that "Park" is so much MORE beloved that they should've gone with Jurassic Park: Rebirth. But that'd just suck DIFFERENTLY.

What, then? WHAT??? Only argument I can thionk of that remains is "We are stupid and lazy."

But everything everyone does drives me crazy in the absolute worst way.

And I just can't wait for literally everything to be over or to finish up whatever I'm doing.

I get furious at the stupidest things

And at people I know don't deserve it.

Stupid people drive me insane, like, more so than usual. Even just a tiny bit of stating the obvious.
