my favourite song playing
a song I used to love, but forgot about, starting to play and remembering every word
sitting on a hill and overlooking entire towns and just this gorgeous view
Sunsets that are that perfect blend of colours
that feeling of meeting up with old friends and falling back into chats like nothing changed at all
my mum cooking my favourite meals
that wonderful feeling when you finish something you were terrified you were going to fail at and even if you still do it doesn’t matter cos you did it
the fact that no matter how shit I feel, my dogs are always happy to see me
watching a favourite movie for like the 50th time and it still being just as amazing
not having anything to do because you’ve done everything you had to do like what a feeling
a really good game, or an old favourite
being able to wear that favourite outfit with the shoes you love and feeling fabulous
People doing tiny things in public spaces regardless of who’s watching - small dances along to the song on their iPod, a little skip for no reason at all, facial expressions over a book, giggling at something on their phone
when people see things and think of me it makes me so happy? like you thought of me? you thought I’d like to see this? this is so nice??????
Those quiet times when it’s like the world is peaceful and you’re thoughts are actually clear and that’s really nice
