I am still gutted we didn't eat that. I'm weak for a good pastry. Granted, I would have probably demolished the whole thing by myself.

I reckon Nik has a thing for Gimmick Food, but not the kind where you go to a random diner in the arse-end of a Red State to complete some kind of Jumbo Pizza challenge and get a t-shirt. It has to be Top Notch and worth the money.

He will, and has, flown to obscure Eastern European towns just for specific bakeries that make pastries like babushka used to make.

I am begging you, for the love of all things holy and unholy, stop fucking talking your oc fic as reader insert.

Your oc may be wonderful and intriguing, they might be the best thing ever, they may be exactly what someone else wants to read - but they are not a reader insert when they have a fully defined personality and past, as well as complete physical features. That is not a reader insert. Stop tagging it as a reader insert.

"But then no one will read it" People are avoiding it anyway. Even if they open your fic and discover it is an oc and not a reader insert as advertised, they are immediately abandoning that fic I'd say about 8 out of 10 times.

Your oc belongs in the oc tags. Not the reader insert tags.
