A delightful Triple Berry Sauce that's bursting with the flavors of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. It's the perfect topping for a wide range of dishes, adding a fruity and sweet touch to your favorite treats.
Ingredients: 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced. 1/2 cup blueberries. 1/2 cup raspberries. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening.
Instructions: In a saucepan, combine the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and granulated sugar. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook the berries, stirring occasionally, until they release their juices and become soft, about 5-7 minutes. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the berry mixture and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice. Allow the Triple Berry Sauce to cool slightly before transferring it to a jar or serving dish. You can store the sauce in the refrigerator for up to a week. Serve this delicious sauce on top of pancakes, waffles, ice cream, yogurt, or anything else you like!
