This rich and creamy chocolate avocado mousse is a guilt-free keto dessert you can enjoy. Avocado adds healthy fats, and cocoa powder makes it taste like chocolate without adding carbs. You can satisfy your sweet tooth and stay in ketosis at the same time.
Ingredients: 2 ripe avocados. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/4 cup powdered erythritol or stevia. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop out flesh into a blender or food processor. Add cocoa powder, erythritol or stevia, vanilla extract, almond milk, and a pinch of salt to the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more erythritol or stevia. Transfer the mousse to serving bowls and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate if desired.
