Percy wasn’t sure, but somehow he had ended up in Nina’s cabin, and was currently hearing her rant over the other camp girls who had a tendency of treating her unfairly. Feeling responsible for this, and a bit guilty over not being cautious enough to realize the mistreatment going on here, the boy had made an attempt to get up and go straight down to the mentioned house and settled things down clearly; but Nina wouldn’t let him budge! She was incredibly scary when she was angry, Percy decided, but he listened to hear patiently.
"Woah, calm down there!" He fidgeted every so often because Nina looked like she could shake the world, but what she was really doing, was that she was putting Percy closer and closer to sleep. Nevertheless, to his surprise, she suddenly winded up nestling against his arm like the kind of cute little sister he thinks of her to be, and was now sound asleep while mumbling incoherent words to the still but warm air. He chuckled out, though it soon blended into a yawn, and without more to say or respond to, he dozed off snoring next to her almost immediately.
