cedric had always been someone that was pretty approachable. so when he felt a pair of eyes watching him he couldn’t help but feel confused. turning around to face the other he smiled softly. “can i help you with something?”

“maybe i should just live on your couch once you get a good job. then i can just be an unhappy retail worker forever.” pansy said, only half joking as she pushed the computer away from her. laptops, while a mugge device, had turned out rather crucial to know how to use, and luckily she was quick enough to pick them up relatively easily. “i mean even if i do go to one of these muggle colleges i don’t even know what i’d go for.” it had been something she’d be considering though, rather privately. any sort of involvement she made with a muggle lifestyle felt like it had to be concealed. really, beyond daphne she wasn’t sure who else she could have brought it up to. “it’ll probably just be a waste of money in the end.”

as much as he enjoyed washington dc, there was a bit of a stifling feeling to it. luke was more used to open skies and long expanses of land in front of him, and the constant crowds left him feeling antsy. he’d ducked out of the event he was supposed to be attending, turning into the first relatively empty bar he found. “any recommendations?” he asked no one in particular, leaning against the countertop of the bar and glancing at the various bottles along the back, before he turned to the redhead working. “surprise me with something, would you? whatever your favorite drink is.” / @trixmewitch​

last thing mantis had heard about the woman was that she was gone. but much like gamora it seemed like this place had brought her back to life. although they fought for the same cause, mantis didn’t know much about natasha other than who she was knows as, the black widow and an avenger. “it is strange that those who were gone are now here.” she expressed. “i am hopeful it is only those who fought for a good cause and not the ones we tried so hard to defeat.” she added.

     she was moving quickly,  too quickly.  it was almost a hazard,  actually;  head down,  moving faster than might be humanly possible.  she was late ... at least by paris standards.  she was still an hour early,  but that was barely on time for her.  

     going over her mental checklist,  mumbling to herself,  and  —  CRASH.  ouch.  she looked up,  rubbing at her forehead with a glare that could kill.  “watch where you’re going!”  it was entirely her fault,  but she’d never admit it.
