December 12, 2025 - Surucua Trogon (Trogon surrucura) Found in parts of Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina, these trogons live in forests and woodlands. They eat arthropods, fruit, and sometimes flowers, picking prey from branches and capturing it in the air and sometimes joining mixed-species flocks. Probably breeding between August or September and December or January, they nest in cavities in termite nests and rotting trees.

A type of trogon! I forget which kind specifically, but I just had to draw such a derpy and colorful bird!
I’m so proud of myself. It felt so good to sign this! I haven’t done a fully colored and rendered piece in ages! My anxiety was telling me I forgot how to do it. Clearly not true.
