Gary Lineker among millionaires asking Andy Burnham to tax them more

A group including the former England footballer write to the new PM telling him "we can afford it".

British millionaires show what patriotism means: giving back to the country, not just hiding it offshore or squirrelling it away in bit coins. If you have more than £10m, you pay 2% more tax.

Perhaps there is a case for something similar in the U.S., with an increase of 4% for billionaires and 6% for trillionaires?

Anyone up for this, such as all those who claim to be true patriots?

 Excerpt from a 1983 Washington Post article titled Reagan on the Press, by Daniel Radcliffe:

...the discussion of security prompted actress Ginger Rogers to tell the group and the President, “Oh, I get scared for him”, and turning to Reagan, she said “because I love you so much, and we who love you get scared for you.”  “I think the press is terrible, she said.  “They’ve not been very nice to our president.”

In Ginger’s autobiography, she also mentions the 1983 White House state dinner that she attended along with 125 other guests at a time when the media were particularly unkind and bias against then President Reagan.  

Gee, I wonder where I’ve seen that behavior before???
