Rodimus is trying to keep on top of being a better captain in this new universe. Which means re-earning the trust of his crew. All of his crew, unfortunately, which includes The Greatest Autobot of All Time. But the mutiny has still left behind a sting that Rodimus can't quite let go. It isn't until Drift pairs him up with the bot for a demonstration that he begins to realize why.

Sadly I didn’t have time to finish the last chapter of Trustfalls for today like I wanted to but here’s a little snippet:

“I was just stopping in to say ‘hi’ really. I hadn’t seen you since you very kindly took me to the medbay and I wanted to thank you again.”

“Again?” Rodimus chuckled, “I think I heard you the first—what? Three times?”

“I know,” The big bot shuffled his feet again, an awkward smile on his lips, “Say, do you know what’s going on at Swerve’s tonight? The reason for the celebration eludes me.”

Rodimus perked up a bit, “Oh that? It’s Valentine’s Day. Well not really— it’s an Earth tradition. Humans had a special time of year that they would give gifts and party with their significant others. Swerve was telling the Scavengers about it and Misfire begged him to let them throw a party.”

Sorry about not posting more of my simpatico fic. I felt guilty that I haven’t done the next chapter of Trustfalls (and it’s been like 3 months) and I wanted to get that out. Plus I started another wip like the dumbass I am.

But I’ll get around to it, I wrote a bunch of notes for it and I’m pissed off because I lost them D:

The last chapter of Trustfalls is almost as long as the first two and I’m tempted to split it but the split would be incredibly uneven.

I'm sorry I I kind of disappeared this past month, its peak season at the shop I work at and my sister is getting married on the 29th so I'm super duper busy all of February 😭 I have a lot of writing all saved up for next month tho I'm hoping I'll be able to post consistently in March if I save up now.
