I believe we meet people for a reason. Whatever the reason be it a lesson, an experience, a helping hand, etc. It's part of our journey in life.

I've been lucky to have met some incredible people in the last 3 years. People I can say without a doubt, which is a quite the feat for me, that they're my friends.

These people, most of the time, have no idea how they affect people and will never know the impact they've had on my life. I can only hope to bring the same peace and love to someone else's life the way these people have done to mine.

I apologized too quickly again. My reflex is guilt, even when I’ve done nothing wrong. Healing is unlearning the instinct to shrink.

Low.

The low points are the worst. The low points that sneak up on you are hell. I moved to a small town on the recommendation of some friends. They are like family to me and they just got laid off and are now moving over 3 hours away. They used to live down the street. I cant breath.

Growing up in a Christian household I was taught to treat the janitor the same way you would treat the CEO.

My parents were then surprised that I would treat a gay person the same way I would treat a straight person.

This applies to gay, trans, queer, nonbinary, etc.

I will never treat you differently just because you're different.

I will treat you differently if you're an asshole to others. Life is hard enough.

My problem was that my mother was afraid that I would fail, so I never learned to fail until later in life and I believe that it hurt me...
