Kind of Chronological Order of the Appearances and joinings to the Borealis cast. (People from that Nidus world)

From Aurora -> Rhea -> Derek -> Phillipa -> Tarqai -> Liahann -> Hyde -> Wrenward -> Zenith -> G1sel.

Wrenward is a new addition, a replacement. I will talk about them sometime.

Right now, each of these pages have two images, that correspond to the cast interacting together to show some kind of relationships with one another in the upper pictures, and an important event and/or trauma in their past on the lower pictures. As they are in order, characters are added up one by one as the pages progress, up until two characters appear simultaneously twice, leaving things ambiguous. Seems like only Hyde and Liahann seem to have less hurtful memories to deal with at that present point of time.

(I definitely need to ponder how to draw my silly sweet treats and drinks in the future, but they do their job well enough. I've located many weaknesses in my process during the drawing of these in the past monts. Another thing of concern too, is that I need to focus more attention toward the fantastical elements of Nidus outside of the demons, as that has been neglected for some time. Stranger locales and possibilities. Outside of that, I am elated that these were completed, imperfections and all. It is always most important to complete things to whichever degree is comfortable and enjoy the fruits of one's labour. That's how one maintains love for their craft in my case, though honestly I might also have the advantage of being obsessed with this shit, so any progress feels intoxicating at times.)

Haven't posted in so long, it feels a little comfortable to know these inactivity days happen. I haven't gotten much better mentally, but I do still draw; the issue is just that very little has been finished. And now I am just "megaposting" these all without pacing them out, pfft! But there is a tiny chance that maybe I'll get back to uploading some more from now on. Though there are some smaller things that I could post...? Now? I am exhausted. I will ramble another day.

Young Lady Hedera Maleora. Talking to someone whom she's bought information from, including old or recent pictures. Neilikka, as she seems to call herself.

A little explanation to the previous drawing. At the back is one of the maids in Hedera's service. They are known as Old Sasha, despite their youthfulness. A title among the ladies in waiting, perhaps?

This other person is actually called Rinne... A recently departed person from Dehl, previously employed by a high ranked Dehlian family when this takes place. Timeframe is ambiguous for now.

A neighbouring country has a monarchy, and Hedera has been planted into a family that exists on the higher rank's lower rungs. Thus, becoming a noble. As a part of their system, she has a chance to become a Lady of a Territory, or even a Baroness, depending on where her life leads her, and how much she can survive the system. She has step siblings and plenty of other step family. Her family is fairly loving and provides her with privileges, but cons come with having the eyes of the higher ranked families gazing upon them... Yet, after a certain war over 100 years ago, the stability in between their families have been decent, and power-plays minimal. While Taruma still has specific volatile sayings rampantly guiding the actions of some, the pieces of this monarchy anxiously gaze at the Death Zone, and remember. Some things can never be taken back. Try and trust WPAF and their orders, as they supported the army during it's mostly cross-continent formation.

More GA-Unit Elise and Fex, Denise and Pernilla. At the back, there is a third animal known as Desperado, with the handler/trainer by their side.

Perhaps the unit is preparing for an assembly to showcase obedience and cooperation between human and animal companion. The animals are actually quite smart, even wise regardless on time spent in training them, making the training process quite tumultuous if one has an animal with a feisty temperament. Originally from species that are supposed to be at least smaller than a human, it seems that whatever has caused this alteration leading to enormity also seems to alter their brains as well.

Fex and Pernilla seem to be quite relaxed on the temperament front. Desperado could be a more aloof example.

The handlers and trainers should be knowledgeable in doing tasks with or without a harness with their companions. While the harness is sturdy and meant to carry things, a human better know how to not overly pack it up with necessities when heading afield as its likely to impede movement and comfort of the companion. All harnesses are custom made, though the general idea is the same with most mammalian giants.

Elise and Denise are well respected handlers and trainers in their respective spots in their units. To talk about their characters and the adventures and lives of the companions will have to happen another time though. But the woman duo have been permitted to work in lawkeeping and do investigations if those fall upon their laps.

Still kinda figuring out how to more consistently draw cat and dog and other animal forms and heads. Also felt the urge to try and make a background, as I feel those muscles have too atrophied. Turned out quite alright regardless of perspective issues.

The Army Giant Animals Unit. I don't think I've ever shared much about this before. And now it needs to go under reconstruction to explain the hows and whys of it all.

Elise and Denise, trainers of Fex the striped enormous dog, and Pernilla the the chimera-cat. With a slight hint toward Denise's older sister Dottir. Elise focuses on Fex's training, and Denise does the same for Pernilla. They often are tasked together in the GA_Unit, working for the WPAF (Worldwide Peace Armed Forces)

An incorporation of working animals into peace-efforts and other wartime or exploration tasks has been a thing on Nidus for at least two hundred years, one hundred since the forming of WPAF from the Borealis timelines. These creatures have existed before, but the emergence of the trait of becoming enormous in the fauna is unclear to the humans/truvae. On Taruma continent, these animals have a sordid history, though most countries upon it see them like any other animal. Upon Hollay on the other hand, a certain reverence has been sparked a long time ago, and the people's view of them in that continent is quite deific. Individual islands on the sea either have no idea what these animals are, or have varied responses to them, I'll have to get more specific later.

Survivor "Siblings".

Barely a generation ago in Taruma, a certain set of people from a southeastern nation were hunted down by their fellow men. Only three toddlers survived, smuggled out from the country and sent away to different directions, never to meet again. One lands in an orphanage, another into a high lady's training school, and last upon a lap of a wealthy mercantile family. Their lives staging them to different places, with different life opportunities within a web of loneliness. Part of the Borealis timeline on Nidus.

I'm so out of touch with my eye on proportions, though im not completely off the hinges. I can still draw. It's okay. Finally completed something. Jewelry is one of the banes of my existence.

"... What happened to you, my love?"

Sakura and Derek used to be childhood friends living in the same orphanage. One day, Derek left with a promise to come back once he settled his emotions when it came to understanding his own parent's death, but he never returned. Later on, Sakura seems to have left the orphanage to wander on his own. They meet again later, just by chance. While both of them are thrilled, it seems like neither of them are the same anymore, despite strong old feelings persisting, obvious to any outsider eye. Eventually, things will implode in a heartbreaking fashion.

An extremely concentrated outline.

This drawing was intended to be very small, but it got out of hand, when my brain proceeded to just wing the whole background "what if i add this here... and there... guidelines be damned...!!!" Which explains the wonkiness. Soon there was too much to commit to, and a whole background had emerged.

Derek and Sakura love each other very much, and had many adventures together as children. I had an especially good time with the outfits. Might be liable to call this town scene a bit inaccurate of what I wanted the architecture to be. I do wonder if the landscape is taking away too much from the focus on the duo.

Ooka and Sawa Sarua. Part of a Borealis side character timeline, characters from a part of the story after events I call the Fall of Palorgon Enterprise.

Aurora meets many people during that time, including Rhea, although a lasting long distance friendship happens with a giant woman known as Ooka, and her partner of more regular human stature Sawa, who are to be wed at a later point in time.

This picture is a representation of that later point in time. They live in a turmoiling country called Dehl, in the capital known as Kappen Dehl. In a little house with a little yard, managing life with trauma inflicted upon them by the now gone Enterprise, finding strength in each other and whoever else survived the predicament of blatant slavery.

Had an itch to draw them. Something nice and bright. There are so many characters that would need at a picture representing them, and I have not drawn Sawa in an especially long time. Also Ooka... Ooka. What a curious situation she has ended up in. They love and adore each other very much, though the other is not aware of what Ooka truly is.
