Magpie’s 500 Follower/Bday ATTIYS!
The day has come!!!
So for the combined celebration of reaching 500 followers (and now 555 which is a highly cool number!) in time to combine with my birthday (woot woot!) I've come to the decision to do a sort of DTIYS or prompt offering to you all. Thanks to everyone who suggested!
BUT instead of just redrawing an art piece (because I am enthusiastic but not hugely talented in that area yet) or writing a simple starter that didn’t feel like something collaborative; I came across the concept of an Add To This In Your Style!
The rules are thus;
Below I've posted TWO options of snippets, of what is essentially a starter/prompt of a scene or story. If you want to participate then simply create what happens next for either one!
Bring in ANY new characters / ships / story ideas / plot twists / AUs / settings that you like (don't feel you have to stick to calling him Deceit either if you pick that one)! You have creative freedom here, just as long as it's following after the snippet below in some way!!
It needs to be tagged with '#magpie500' as well as all your usual tags so I can find it, and tag me in the post directly too!!
Don’t forget to include the snippet that you choose to use on your post somewhere too :)
There are no minimums or maximums on how long it should take you to create or post, nor how long or how much effort you should put in, and no deadline for taking part. A quick doodle or a big piece are both equally valid; a small drabble or a wildly long fic are as well. If you’re inspired, go wild, but don’t pressure yourselves either!

So without further ado, I present to you, your starters!
"It's like I always say; flair is important!" Deceit says, holding his posture gracefully as he walks. "There's nothing quite like the impact of one's bearing upon the impression people will have of you. One, I mean. It's almost the first thing someone notices, and it can fix poor clothing or a dirty face up just like that and have you treated like royalty in no time." He snaps his fingers to demonstrate, turning around with a charming and regal smile, executing a shallow bow and flourishing his hand. "So," he continues, letting his shoulders relax. "What do you think?" -
Logan strode down the hallway, clutching his book in his hands. There was no time to waste! Information had been found and assessed and mused over, and now it needed to be shared. It could be vital! It could change everything. He just hoped he was still in time to help. Hadn't he said that the right piece of knowledge could make all the difference in the world?! "I'm coming!" He called, speeding up his stride. "I know the answer!"
