So the old post that I reblogged exactly one week ago which resulted in my primary account and this secondary tumblr being terminated for two hours featured these two pictures. Tumblr decided to completely delete the original post because they didn’t like that I linked to another site aka [Darasims(dot)net].

These are shots of a tiny bakery located in the corner of one of two buildings at New Resistance’s port market lot. This building is located to the right of the fabric/clothing shop in this post (see the last two pictures for reference), and the bakery is in the hallway just inside the entrance (door to your left in the last picture in this post).

In the original post I noted that this lot has two buildings flanking the main market. One is a storage building, and the one featured in these pictures houses three indoor shops along with the bakery. You can kind of see the second shop through the barn doors to your right.

So I mentioned the Darasims’ site originally to note the table cloth/cover that I used on @anitmb’s produce stand (which you can find on the NRAAS site (yes I’m scared they will terminate for linking to NRAAS now)). I added it with relevant clutter to give that particular stand a bit of individuality. I’m pretty sure that particular table cloth is part of one of Darasims’s sets, but do not have a direct link and don’t want to get terminated again, lol.

Here are more pictures from the Farming Town spin off series which takes place in @technicallyswagpizza‘s custom world Ainali. The original world features a rabbithole grocery store, and instead of replacing it with a custom lot from the internet or creating my own, I decided to try and open it up.

This was actually the first time I attempted this kind of build, and I think I did an okay job.

These exterior shots were taken in the wee hours of the sim morning, so I apologies if they are a bit dark. The interior shots which will be posting next are much brighter.

Ahhhh Ainali! A beautiful world created by @technicallyswagpizza that also serves as the setting for this, A Farming Town Spin-off game, featuring Conjure Living.

What’s this? An Accident?

It seems that not only has some poor unfortunate sim crashed a stolen taxi into the stone gate just outside the police station, but that the driver is none other than Demeter Thomas, Ainali’s own emergency dispatcher.

This was one of the strange errors I encountered when I realized I never finished setting up for this game. I have no idea if this is an issue with the world, some mod issue, or just one of those random once in a lifetime glitches that happens when you play The Sims 3 as it has not occurred a second time thus far. 

But it sure did make me laugh.

I mentioned in a couple Isolation posts that I originally made my self sim have a flat butt so that she could have a staff as part of her career outfit. For some reaons I haven’t figured out yet, it’s not showing up outside of CAS.

Additional renovations made to the Cinema/Diner lot in Ainali’s Village Center. Spaced the posters out as I extended the wall when I was trying to make the diner rabbithole door still fit when opening that section of this build up. Repositioned the table and entrance closest to the bar, which you can’t really see from these pictures.

Added counters around the bar, the seasons popcorn machine, and a deco machine, plus a wall menu. Moved the couches around in the seating area near the fireplace to leave a good amount of room for the ticket machines that come with the Barrier to Entry System from the sims 3 EA store, and also placed the turnstile from the set by the stairs. You can kind of see where I put it in the background of the first picture.

What isn’t pictured, as I added them later and forgot to get shots, are more movie related clutter items. So around the counters where the bar is, there’s stacks of popcorn buckets, a stack of snow cone cups, deco nachos, and 2 different sizes of deco popcorn.

The Barrier to Entry System is another thing I’ve never used in gameplay. I wont get to test them until I send Conjure out, probably with Chucky, to watch a movie.

These are the last pictures I have of the edits made to The Burning Pharoah, the ship featured in New Resistance’s expedition spin off game.

These pictures are of the sickbay, and also feature Ga’briel’s cat (in the first pic). The room is very small, but it operates just fine.

There was an empty top floor of the Cinema/Diner lot in @technicallyswagpizza‘s world Ainali. I used the space to make an open viewing room. I didn’t remove the windows, I just went three spaces on each side from the outer walls and made the room above. There are a few movie and/or movie like posters by the outer side of the entrance to this room, but aside that it’s pretty bare. I don’t expect my active sims will ever travel around to those areas so I didn’t want to put too much time into changing it. I did of course add a staircase leading up to the floor which match the style of the staircases that were already in the building, and I recolored the floors. Since what I did was so minimal, and frankly a little ugly to me, I didn’t even think to get pictures.

The inner room has a platform in the back so that some seats are a little elevated to give a cinema feel. The seats are by @aroundthesims, they’re Sandy’s Movie Theater chair and loveseat (which can be found on the aroundthesims3 website). Since the empty floor is a single floor I couldn’t use a super big tv, and can’t off of the top of my head remember if the one I used is cc or from an expansion. Apologies for that. While the exit sign light is also (correct me if I’m wrong) one of Sandy’s creations, I can’t remember where I got the speakers, or if the floor lights are cc or EA. Boo to me :(

Again, I still have the Cinema rabbithole rug exactly where it was originally, but both for the map tag, and I like the restrictions to when a show is available. So when my sims do want to catch a flick, I will check to see if the time lines up with the rabbithole rug, then send them up to the open room.

More renovations shots made to the community lots in @technicallyswagpizza‘s world Ainali. This time to the diner section of the cinema/diner lot in Village Center.

I wanted to actually see Conjure enjoying a meal at the diner, and while I do have Icarus_Allsort’s (over on Modthesims) Eat Outside Restaurants + Waiters Mod (though not in this game), I wasn’t sure how it would work with the rabbithole doors/rugs. So I decided to use @anitmb‘s Business as Unusual mod (can be found on the NRAAS website), which I’ve had longer than Icarus’s mod, but never got around to trying out.

To use it I had to edit the diner area. I added an additional table to the seating area that @technicallyswagpizza already had on the lot and stuck with their overall color scheme. I initially tried to keep the rabbithole door that was being used (were you originally using that, or did I swipe it out when I first started this spin-off and just forgot?) but it kept trapping my waiter.

I removed the wine racks and used the island counter, adding two more counters, to make the counter seating area in front of the kitchen that I also added. If I remember correctly the diner door was where the counter seating area is now.

I shuffled around most of the wall decor (may have deleted one of the pictures, but can’t recall) and added the bulletin board, coat stand, and newspaper stand by the entrance. The corridor with the curtain over it is hiding where I put the diner rabbithole rug. I left it there because I wanted to keep the diner tab, and while there might be another way to do that, I couldn’t think of how off the top of my head.

It is possible I will go back in to change the color of the barstools to match the table chairs.

Additionally, I moved two of the menus from the counters because the waiter had problems taking the order of a sim that sat there. I also had to open up a blocked off section of the building beside the first floor staircase. It’s possible editing the lot borked something, because the waiter would magically end up in that area sometimes when he first arrived at work.

I need to test to get to the bottom of this. I still don’t know if deleting the menus and opening the space have solved the problem as I have not yet gone back into the game since Conjure and Waldo got something to eat last week (real time, not sim time). Those pictures won’t show up here for sometime, though.
