1920s Lookbook
As the world emerged from WWI, fashion went in a new direction, with an emphasis on simplicity and straight lines. From this emerged the boyish dropped waist silhouette, which has become synonymous with the decade. This look was embraced by the flappers, feminist women who engaged in "unladylike" behaviors like partying and voting. Their political beliefs were also reflected in their dress: wearing androgynous silhouettes and chopping off their hair. Hemlines also shrank from floor-length dresses to just below the knee. This was both a political statement and a practical choice; as women became more active in society, shorter skirts allowed for an increased range of movement.

I'm back after a two-year hiatus! I just graduated from college and finally had time to remove a bunch of buggy cc from my game to make it playable again.
Rare moments when neither sims nor game act absolutely retarded so I sincerely enjoy playing it.
Mods to make your 20s roar:
• 1920s Wall Phone by @awingedllama (this is must-have) • Golf from Let's Get Fit by Cepzid Creation (turns your sims' fitness routine into something more classy and rises fitness skill) • Royal Casino mod by Arnie (not very different from the other table games, but good if you are tired of Lama/chess/sabacc games or need somewhere to waste your money) • Functional Pool Table by @utopya-cc (I finally found it. Works more like in-game animation, but it's still fun).
...and don't forget about Sims 1: Hot Date Jazz on the background~
Not gonna lie, Sophie and the 20s is *chef’s kiss*
Fashion Through the Decades - a lookbook project
I have a lot of projects, don’t I? Okay well this one I’ve been working on for like a week and I just couldn’t freaking keep it secret anymore q.q So here’s a preview? Teaser? I’ll be doing actual lookbook/CC lists for each of the outfits shown. Until then, LOOK AT THESE FUNNY PICTURES OF LANEY THROUGH THE ERAS. And marvel at my frequent inaccuracy. It’s the thought that counts. I’m actually really proud of this? So, yeah. I’ve never even done a lookbook before? IT’S GONNA BE GREAT. Absolutely fantastic. It’s true!
