Audrina: Hello Father. You summoned me?
Lord Ian: Do not be so formal. You are not summoned. Thank you for meeting me at the guild. I'd like to discuss something with you.
Audrina: Forgive me.
Audrina: Tell me what you wish to discuss. I am listening.
Lord Ian: Well... I know I've been grooming you to join the guild and take up military honor.
Audrina: Yes. I believe I am ready to take on more responsibility at the guild. I know that as a woman there are...limited options for me but...
Audrina: Father, would you have good news on that front?
Lord Ian: My dear unfortunately I have something different in mind for you. You see, the king has requested a meeting between the Crown Prince Raymond and yourself.
Lord Ian: And as he is the king, I am not able to decline. But I have made no promises to the king or the court. You would simply be meeting the prince.
Audrina: I understand father. I would not disgrace the Ellsworth name or dishonor the ruler of this land in such a way.
Audrina: I must ask though. I do think I am ready for more responsibility Father. Do you not agree? I know Arthur is telling everyone I don't belong at court and-
Lord Ian: My dear....this is a complicated subject. But I do plan to have you working the guild on Thursdays. But this change may take time.
Audrina: I am disappointed to hear this. But I understand that my sex makes things difficult. I don't mean to cause this. I would be happy to assist the guild however I can. Whenever it is deemed necessary.
Lord Ian: My dear Audrina, your understanding pleases me so. You are like your mother in so many ways. Strong, intelligent and bold. I never want you to lose that. This world is not ready for your strength.
