Well I was going to check Clear Bloom in other areas today but I ended up having to make over a random who was wandering around looking awful.
This is Rhonda Meadows. She’s going to live in StrangerVille.

I have the coolest seniors in my game.

Still checking the new ReShade out. It’s likely going to be called Clear Bloom. It has some aspects that are reminiscent of my old Clear Summer (in that it knocks back the blue - but that’s on a toggle because one thing I didn’t like about Clear Summer was that some interior shots lost nice blue furnishings, so putting it on a toggle means you can just use it when you want to get rid of obnoxiously blue skies and exterior shadows).
It’s made specifically to work nicely with 4 LUTs from my Full Bloom MultiLUT atlas, but theoretically you could use it with any of them if you prefer. It also looks okay with none of them (this is taken without, and because of the peculiarities of the specific shot there was little difference between them).
There are, as ever, a heck-ton of toggles. The one to get rid of the blue, as I said above, then the usual endless toggles for various versions of mxao and dof (there are 3 lots of mxao in this pic!!!), as well as ambient light, an extra bloom, adaptive fog, depth haze (which is responsible for the pastel gorgeousness in the background here), and probably more stuff I’ve forgotten.
It’s a relatively simple thing that I knocked up very quickly. Like I said, I’m still testing it around and about. It might look awful in some places.
Here is a comparison between vanilla and Clear Bloom (mouseover for vanilla).
Here is the hq version of the shot above.
A couple of city residents, enjoying the rain.

More walkbys, featuring the inimitable Ember Sparks (top).

An ordinary overcast spring day in the Spice District.

A normal morning in the Spice District. Featuring some of my favourite sims ever, including Horace Herbert (bottom), who was one of the first I made in the CAS demo 4 years ago.
Also, I am really enjoying how the lighting is so different from day to day. I’ve still only played through about 5 days of spring so far, but it’s keeping me on my toes. I never know what to expect from my ReShade preset. I like that!

Four old walkbys.
