Gino says, "Here is a picture on Thursday, February 27, 2014 around 8:20 AM. It is a shot of commuters attempting to walk from the GO Concourse down into the subway + PATH area. The bottleneck between Purdy's + Great Canadian News is nasty!"
Tian White has been a transit trooper, facing and capturing crowded transit conditions. This is their second submission to the Sardine Awards.
On Thurs Feb 27, Tian says, "Just another morning at Yonge & Bloor. 8:55am. The doors are closing."
High school student, Robert Ong, age 16, who has a strong interest in urban planning issues, captured the following. Robert says, "This is the picture I took on the 36 Finch West bus during the evening rush hour on Feb.12th at Finch Subway Station. I actually showed this to the Minister of Transportation Glen Murray, he said was "shocked" by the overcrowding. This is exactly why Finch West needs an LRT!"
