Tad the Lost Explorer curses au
Oh yeeeeah, I said that I will find the right art style and then we going to rock? Kjkjkj well I did and I finally finished with drawing them and writing explanation (This took me so Aken damn long imao XD)
Okay so, i would have liked to start from the very start aka explaining what the hell these curses are. Or better to say who these curses are. These 3 curses used to be these three humans:
yellow eye mage / red eye warrior / green eye shapeshifter
They used to be the greatest and strongest warriors in their town and they were protecting people there. The people they were saving build them giant statue.
Natan (red eye) used to be their leader, even if he's a flame head and always acts on emotions, he is very loyal and brave, he was always able to find the way out of every situation.
Huygo (Green eye) used to be his side kick, the funny and optimistic guy, pretty much flame head but he can control his emotions and act using his brain. His power was almost always acting off and he was, from time to time, stuck in the form of the animal he turned into, but Natan was finding the way how to help him with it.
James (yellow eye) used to be the brain of the team. He was the one who was taking difficult and brain breaking choices, also was always the one to stop other two from doing stupid things and act on emotions.
This team was the only one that was able to take down strongest enemies that ever existed (in their time line).
Then how did they got turned into curses? Weeeell, on one of their missions (let's call them like this) with attempts to save the city from magical creature that broke out from the under world, Natan accidently killed Huygo.
He didn't mean it, it happened on the accident, but this caused James to act not so nicely towards him, which caused his already damaged mental state (Like come on, he killed the one he saw as little brother) to go all the way down and on one of the dark and thundery nights Natan came to James's room and tried to kill him.
James was yelling at him, asking why the hell he tries to do it and was trying to stop him by using his magic, but Natan managed to take him down and pressing his claws to his neck say that he found the way how to fix everything.
And with this he killed him. His plan was to perform the ritual to bring them both to life, but to do it, he needed the blood of a mage, this is why he killed James.
And he performed the ritual, it didn't work because he wasn't strong enough to do is and even worse other mages found out about this and cursed him.
His curse was the curse of power, power that grows and eats you from the inside. He thought that he can use it but they chained him in special chains that were blocking the ability to perform magic or any other powers and trapped in the cage.
And it was his torture, he was trapped there with nothing but pain of being eaten from the inside and this drove him to his limit. On one of the days he managed to finally take these chains off (Since he was very thin out of exhaustion) and attack them.
It was the last mistake he made because as panishment they killed him, trapping his cursed soul in the sharp knife with what he took James's blood for the ritual.
But they didn't know that the ritual actually worked, not how he wanted but still it worked and now there was not only one sould trapped in the knife but three.
The three eyed curse that was waiting for the moment to finally be out of their cage and this time came when after thousands of years someone decided to check this place for something very dangerous that can't fall in the hands of bad guys that wanted this and this someone was none other that Tadeo Jones.
And not only him but Sarah and Mummy too, while others were still up there and making sure that the old building won't break or someone won't come there and try to do something to them cause for the past years that passed since the third movie (3 years if to be more correct) Tad gained A LOT of enemies that want him dead (What can i say, he never learns on his mistakes to not seek dangerous stuff that other guys want to find to take over the world XDDD)
And when they were checking a lot of rooms and dark corners in attempts of finding something that these guys were seeking the whole building started to break and collapse. Of curse they started to run out of there but some of the bricks broke right under Sarah and she started to fall but Tad managed to catch her.
When he was trying to pull her up, he tried to take something that will be able to help him not to fall there too and he took it, it was the cursed knife. And even if he managed to pull her up and not fall there too, he still cut his left palm pretty badly and this is how he freed these three curses, three souls that possessed him and gave him new abilities that he had no idea about.
And now that he is cursed, he gained these three forms, that he turns into when one or another of these three curses take full control:
Only one of them can take full control or else body won't be able to handle it and will shut down (if not start to bleed to death...).
And as obvious nobody knew about it, even he himself, but slowly, bit by bit (mostly by the help of nightmares and memories that he neved had) he finds out and now kind of works with them (more like works for them or else one crazy white haired psycho going to kill his friends =P)
And this is it, this is the basic explanation of this au that explains the curses and Tad's "problem"
