a cool and good musical!!

(im reposting this because it needs more attn!!)

HEY GUYS so i love this musical called the theory of relativity by neil bartram and brian hill!! it's kinda new and it's just?? amazing?? i don't even know what the plot is because it's like five different plots intertwined but like i think the whole underlying moral is that having someone to rely on, whether romantically or platonically, is extremely important and there's this whole "i am nothing without you" theme that's really nice and heartwarming and i just?? i wish more people would listen to it so ahem

Oooh I didn't know anyone else liked Theory of Relativity!! I listened to it awhile back though I hadn't heard much talk of it so I assumed it was just a concept album since a lot of those show up on Amazon (where I found it). I couldn't find a clear synopsis of the story when I listened to it though help?? Thank youuu :)

OH MY GOD HELLO!!!! i've loved it since a local theatre put on a production but i didn't get to see the performance (cries) so i just. u kno. depression-listened to the soundtrack on repeat ??? i got my friends to listen to it but besides tht i've heard of no one else whos listened to it so i'm glad people who know of it actually exist outside of my city lol,,, if u see the post that i have going around then it has a link to a youtube performance? but besides that all i know is that, in reality, it's a lot of plots intertwined into that whole "nothing without you" theme. sorry i can't be of more help i guess when i watch the actual performance i'll let u know hehdjdh

The Temple of Rain

My footsteps splash softly as I enter. Rain falls from the rafters and pools on the dark, tile floor. The water is warm and my aches recede as it soaks deeper and deeper into my body.

The temple is always empty. The solitude I experience here is sacred.

As I bask in the deepening pool, the air grows thick with steam. I am seated, cross legged, in the rising water. My legs and hips are slowly submerged. I see them rippling under the surface. My breath comes steady and relaxed.

As always, I offer a prayer:

"God of Rain,

Thank you for this sanctuary of peace and reflection. Thank you for the life I have been given. Let these waters nourish my tired body and mind and replenish my spirit. Water guide me so that I may see your force, grace and tranquility and emulate it to the best of my abilities." In this place, my mind is clear. A multitude of warm droplets beat rhythmically on my lowered head and clasped hands.

Time passes ambiguously. My lungs, cleansed in steam, release a slow deep breath. To overstay ones welcome is not polite. The temple is only a temporary refuge.

As the door opens, gusts of cold wind chill my body. The steam pours out behind me. The sounds of the temple fade as the door creaks shut.
