The Magick of Waterfalls. Did you know that water from waterfalls have a very specific magickal energy? Unlike stream water, which has the properties of purification and cleansing, and ocean water, which includes properties such as healing and manifestation, waterfall water has a properties of success, power, and energy. I always collect water from my trips, and these properties directly assist in any spellwork I do. Waterfalls are a natural wonder and hold very sacred energy in many cultures. For lots of countries, there are folkloric stories to go with many of their waterfalls. In my country, many magickal beings reside in the forests around falls. Most notably, The Fae. These mystical and mischievous beings border the veil between the worlds and can be heard throughout the forests. If you're lucky, you may even spot mermaids in the pools of the falls, and may even stumble across Papa Bois himself. Remember to always remain respectful in these places, especially if you meet any beings. The natives referred to waterfalls as 'the river that comes from the sky'. And whether or not they believed that a God or Mother Nature herself granted them the blessing of the falls, it remains true that they are indeed a blessing.
