OK, Lets talk about some titans.

SO, some of the titans that I really LOVE (but am still reading up on) are the “swim club”, or Arthur Jr, Tula II, and of course, Cerdian . We’ll start with Arthur, and then i’ll post cerdian & tula later on. 

SO I know that the background stories on all of these characters are out off control, and all over the place, but I wanted to have main characters within the titans that spent a majority of their time underwater. (having titans I could dub the ‘swim club’ was also something I really wanted to do) But instead of spending forever trying to figure out, and correlate their background stories, (bringing them back from the dead, from another earth?????) I’m just going to talk about their chemistry with one another, their own personalities, and their roles in the titans. 

Starting with Arthur. Woo boy, ok so , I always headcanoned Arthur as this very kindhearted, hardworking, person. He is very outgoing, takes the role of a leader naturally, and is also very headstrong, very stubborn. It takes a lot for Arthur to change his decision on things, and although he takes everyones needs into consideration, he often times takes it upon himself to make the final decision, with or without everyones agreement. Arthur likes the idea of one day becoming king, but he has a long way to go before that time comes, and he wants to enjoy his time as prince, with less responsibilities, and more freedom, while he can. 

Arthur is very much a people person. He loves to mingle, and to head out to different areas of the ocean, and on land, and just talk to people. He loves being in the know, and keeping up with how people are doing, If he’s met you even only once, he makes a point to go out of his way and greet you, and ask you how you are doing. 

As far as his powers and abilities, he can create ‘hard-water’ constructs, he is able to breathe underwater, and on land, but only for a brief period of time. He has superhuman speed underwater, as well as hearing, sight, stamina and strength, both underwater and on land. Also, marine telepathy, cause why not. I’m sure at some point, he learned some things from Cerdian involving magic. 

I think Arthur and Cerdian spend a lot of time together growing up, and they both consider each other to be their brother. I see Arthur being the more stubborn out of the two, as Cerdian is more easy-going and level-headed. Out of the three, I thunk Arthur would take up the role of the big brother. Sometimes over protective, but he loves the two of them to pieces. Cerdian is the one Arthur knows he can confide in, any secret that needs to be kept as such, or something that has been bothering Arthur, or even something that he just needs to get off of his chest, he goes to Cerdian for. 

Tula, is the one Arthur can always count on to have his back. Arthur admires Tula’s strong will, and power, and often tells her how he wants to be her when he grows up. I can see their relationship as a more fun, more spontaneous one. Not to say that Arthur and Cerdian aren’t comfortable together, and don’t have happy moments, but I see Cerdian as more of a calm, much more introverted person than Arthur and Tula. If Tula is having a bad day, or needs a shoulder to cry on, Arthur is always there for her.

Arthur’s role in the titans, is a very diverse one. He works well with others, and can also take the position of the leader in short notice. Much like Chris, he is the one many of the titans rely on as far as strength goes. As well as underwater missions.
