there's 15 months between me and my sister, and then only 3½ between me and my next sister, so at one point my mum had 3 children all under 4. when we went shopping we used to go around and "introduce" ourselves to all the mannequins, which involved shaking their hands so vigorously they fell off, then hiding the evidence in the pram. when it came time to check out, my mum would have to hand them all back in whilst we giggled behind her

also!! me and my sister used to LOVE trying on all the jewelry, especially the bracelets. sometimes we'd go to show my mum our lovely shiny bracelets, and then completely forget to put them back- this is how my mum has a rather large bracelet collection of lovingly shoplifted pieces despite not actually liking bracelets all that much.

INCREDIBLE, thank you for sharing this with me aedfklsdjflksd now I am imagining modern AU Zixuan having to nip to the shops because they need some emergency supplies (there is no way they don't get their weekly shop delivered - I think it's a less common thing in the US for supermarkets to deliver but in the UK most supermarkets do it and for them it would be an absolute no-brainer choice, unless Yanli really felt in the mood to go there and browse for herself) and because it's an emergency trip he doesn't have time to find someone to watch the kids, so he has:

9 y/o A-Ling, at that cranky age where he's decided he's Not A Kid Anymore, annoyed that he's apparently not considered old enough to just be left at home alone >:( totally immersed in his switch and barely looking where he goes

7 y/o A-Heng, who very much wants to be involved in the game A-Ling is playing but also is much more aware of his father's stress levels, so is constantly torn between staying obediently at Zixuan's side or following A-Ling around

3 y/o A-Xiu and A-Lei, loud and cheerful, making it their mission to grab whatever they can off the shelves, barely restrained by baby reins

8 m/o A-Gui, strapped to Zixuan's chest and asleep like a tiny drooling angel, thank GOD

Cyberpunk AU

A cyberpunk au where XY leads the rebellion against the govt. And XXC leads the task force in charge of dismantling the rebellion and finding out their next move. Now take these two job obsessed ruffians and make them boyfriends. So XY just randomly walks into their shared home leaving all the worries and details about his job outside, and same with XXC. Because time together at home IS STRICTLY FOR LOVE AND FUN.

Add a SL in there as their nanny who takes care of A-Qing and we got a beautiful AU.
