I think they’re so cutie patootie but it does make me sad that Turtle Tail didn’t really defend Bumble and fight harder for her to stay in the Clans

I definitely understand she was in a hard position though with everything happening with Tom and her kits

Just wish they could’ve been happy together :(

Happy Pride Month! Drew some of my favourite gay Warriors ships! I have some more of these types of posts coming as well (two more gay ship posts, a "straight" ship post where the cats are in hetero relationships but they're lgbtq in some way, and aromantice/asexual post, and then some assorted pride headcanons)

Me? Getting inspired to make a theoretical bumble turtle tail map thumbnail? its more likely then you think, it's very very loosely based aesthetically around flowerfell and Secret Garden

Turtle Tail wracked by guilt has a dream where a Bumble who's eyes are covered in flowers takes her into a beautiful garden, and Turtle Tail almost gets lost in it, wanting to stay dreaming, but the longer she stays she gets more glimpses of Bumble's memories and pain, flowers growing over where the wounds that killed her would be with every new memory. Turtle Tail is forced to face that her best friend and girlfriend is dead, and she can't go back to the days before Tom, before everything went wrong, she has to leave this garden and face reality.

She begs for forgiveness, finally letting herself grieve for Bumble and come to terms with how badly she messed up, but Bumble meant it when she apologized on her death bed. So she lifts Turtle Tail's head after she cries for few seconds, and tells her that even if she is dead, it's not too late for Turtle Tail to be a better cat, to do what she couldn't before, to be kind like she was before, and that Bumble still loves her. Sometimes kindness is enough.

When Turtle Tail wakes up, she thinks it's just a dream, but finds one of the flowers that were covering Bumble under her paw, so she puts it in her fur and walks out of her den, completely snubbing Gray's Wing as she heads to Bumble's grave to sit by it. Silently promising that she will be better, and that she'll never let what happened to Bumble happen to another cat as she looks up at the clouds.
