Save Daredevil: Disney+ and Hulu Merger Is Best Possible Situation for Marvel's Cancelled Netflix Shows

My first thought was “woo!” Because it really is.

My second thought after reading this:

“While on the independently-owned service, the streamer afforded the first season of Daredevil around $4 million per episode or approximately $52 million for the 13-episode season. According to reports last year, Marvel Studios' shows on Disney+ will end up receiving upwards of $25 million per episode, or over six times of the Marvel Television's DefendersVerse counterparts.”

the problem with show nowadays being so dark is

On one hand as someone who had a Led very very old tv and has nearly exclusively Led screen : I get it it’s so fucking dark and ugly and—

On the other hand as someone with a new oled tv: IT’S SO PRETTY, THEY ARE COOKING, I CAN SEE EVERYTHING OH MY GOD

Like I do think it’s a problem to expect people to all use oled and stuff but I’m sorry I don’t agree that the lighting is ‘bad’. It isn’t (I’m a casual viewer so maybe someone more knowledgeable will tell me I’m talking shit lol). That’s not the issue here. The issue is that they are lighting their show exclusively for oled screen and not for led one.

I do think there is a talk to have with the straight up lack of color but at the same time it’s simply NOT the same show if you watch it on oled. You can see on oled. On led everything look washed out while on oled it’s pretty colorful.

Led VS oled (you will obviously not see it as well if your device is led but you can definitely see a difference even on pictures. Also I took pic with my 6yo phone so if the pic are bad well at least they are done with the same device— )
